The entryway and main building is lovely. However our room was in a secondary part of the building, was very tired looking and felt more like a residential care home than a hotel. Disappointed as what we paid didn’t reflect what we got.

Our 2nd time staying at Box Hill. Warmly greeted at reception, a small room but had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Very comfy bed with good blackout curtains. We enjoyed an evening meal in the restaurant & an excellent choice for breakfast all in a stunning location. We have family in the area & this is becoming our new favourite when visiting.

Pretty basic to be honest. Paid nearly £100 for the room, no breakfast. Slow check in. Pretty rubbish room service, you can order food to room but have to go to bar to order which I didn’t do cos what’s the point in that. Food menu overpriced. Air con not working properly in room - in peak summer. I was excited to stay here but left a bit disappointed to be honest. The pool is nice though.

A lovely location
We had a 1 night stay as we were attending a wedding at nearby Denbies Vineyard. The location was excellent and we managed a dip in the pool. We had drinks and burgers at the bar which were reasonably priced and the room was comfortable and a good size. The hotel is a bit dated in places but I would recommend it.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay. The staff were amazing and we enjoyed using the heated swimming pool. The breakfast was delicious. I would definitely stay here again, especially during the summer.
