Place is old but that’s part of the charm. Nice and clean no complaints at all. There was no hair dryer in the room so plan for that. All in all it was a good stay and significantly cheaper than surrounding hotels. Great location for walking to Pikes Place

Grate spot, easy walk to Pikes Place and restaurant. Staff was very helpful and nice. Family owned. It has an actual key for the door , older historic feel

This is a historic hotel currently doing renovations to Cafe and restaurant, so no place for that. It is conveniently located a few blocks from the Central Market. In there you can find many things to do, including dining options. Great location, walkable to Market, Space Needle, cruiseship port, and downtown. We stayed one night and will stay again.

Good for climate pledge concert
Stayed one night for a show at climate pledge. Parking is a block away and $25/24h. Car was secure. Hotel was ok, the blanket on the bed was thin and the room was a little chilly overnight. It's loud but we used the box fan in the closet to drown out the noise on the street (4th floor, facing the street). Good location for tourist stuff including climate pledge (15min bus away)

If you are looking for a no frills, no amenities, this is the place for you. No in room coffee, attached coffee shop not open on Mondays. Has a beverage and snack machine, however only excepts $1, no change available at the front desk. No kleenex or hairdryer in room. Handicapped room, the farthest from the elevator. Elevator is so small, and only one. Very difficult to get luggage in and out and long wait to get on it. I would not stay there again.

Had an excellent 1 night stay. Very helpful and friendly staff. The lack of AC could make it a poor choice for some during summer but we had a wonderful experience late September.

This is a beautiful very old hotel, the oldest hotel on the West Coast!!! It is very unique and very clean!! If you don’t like old, don’t come, but it has very unique features like all wood doors, beautiful claw foot bathtub Beautiful light fixtures, and many other lovely features from yesteryear!!!!

Good stay. Basic, but had everything we needed. Excellent location for embarcation to cruise ships for Alaska! A couple of good dinner & breakfast options within 2-3 blocks. And the staff was friendly.

I’d stay here again!
Reminded me of a great room in NYC. Very central location. Walkable to great bars. Room was very clean. The weather was perfect for the fact that there’s no AC but the fan in the room gave great background noise. Walls are thin and the fan helped. We asked for a high floor and enjoyed the city view. Great old hotel. Check in clerk was very nice. 3 minutes Walked to Pikes Place, The Whiskey Bar and the secret speakeasy, Gin Bathtub. Homeless present but don’t bother you.
