Wow, the room had a jacuzzi that I did not use but it was there if I wanted. Much better choice than the Super 8 or Motel 6 next door.

Good enough?
No one really goes to Fort Nelson because they WANT to, so the accomodation options reflect that. At the hotel desk the RCMP has a large sign warning about vehicle break ins and theft. Our room smelled like cigarette smoke and the halls smelled like old greasy food. However, we were tired from driving and had a comfortable sleep!

Carpets stained, bathroom floor gross, bathroom vent filthy, towel rack rusted. At $200 a night I would’ve hoped for better. Staff was really nice though and beds were clean and comfortable. Breakfast area and lobby were clean and in good condition.

Whenever we travel the AlCan Hwy. we always stay at Lakeview Inns and Suites in Ft. Nelson, BC. The accommodations are superb, the staff friendly, the breakfast superb, and there's a Boston Pizza Restaurant next door which has many more choices than just pizza!
