"Our host went out of his way to pick us up at the bus stop and took us to the house. Gave us a short briefing. We looked around, my wife really liked the house and the area …as while we were walking distance to the town we were deep in the forest. The area is full of song birds. The property has a security guard and a large gate that is kept locked at night. It’s about 15 min walk to the main part of town but it’s an easy walk. A wonderful outdoors restaurant is less than 10 min away that serves good food at reasonable prices. Both my wife and I highly recommend the little yellow house as our 4 day stay was delightful. "

"This hotel is an experience in itself. Nestled in a mangrove, the hotel is built on stilted walkways. There are turtles and crocodiles (sometimes), but apparently they do not bother people. You can relax at their restaurant or by the pool or choose to participate in activities such as sunrise kayaking to an island with monkeys, a horseback ride, a walk through their farmland, or a day trip to Livingston. The people who work there are friendly and organized. The place is kept very clean and comfortable. I personally like that you can access it by land or boat. Many similar spots are only accessible by boat, which makes me feel too isolated! I would definitely recommend this hotel. "
