Book a hotel near Furnace Creek Visitor Center, Death Valley

"Very nice little property with everything one needs on site. All the folks working here (front desk & restaurant) have been friendly and helpful. The junior Suite room is awesome! The $30 pet fee was a bit steep, especially for a service dog, but we appreciated that the facility is “pet friendly”. And we won $30 playing video poker after dinner, so we’re even! "

"This is a wonderfully unique experience and we enjoyed the excellent staff and service at the Inn. Those who are here for Death Valley likely know that there are literally no other services/civilization for miles outside of the Inn and the Ranch, but the properties are so well done that everything is easily available at those sites. We dined at every restaurant except the Wildrose Tavern, and had good to great meals each time - the Last Kind Words Saloon was the favorite for dinner, the Inn Dining Room was the favorite for breakfast. The pool and sauna were both very well-maintained and the garden and the stargazer deck are well worth the stroll (especially sunset on the stargazer deck!). We splurged on the casitas which were comfortably furnished, and I personally loved getting around on the included golf cart!"

"Wanting to see stars? This is the place you want to be. Eating is 7 miles up the road. Great tea and coffee ready 7 a.m. It's an old motel with lots of character. "

"The thing we like the most was how close to Death Valley we were, just about an hour away. The quietness and the evening sky were beyond incredible. We saw lots of shooting stars and the milky way was over us and we could see it with our naked eye. Also the sunrise and sunset are beautiful. The views of mountains in front and behind the house are spectacular. The property was very well stocked. I would highly recommend staying here if you are going to visit Death Valley but you need to be aware that you are in a very remote location. GPS on our phones worked very well. We would stay here again. "
