Ants everywhere. Sat my bags down, went to sleep, woke up to ants all over my belongings. Ice machine doesn't work so I had to beg for more than one bag at the desk.

Expedia sold me a deluxe room with king bed for extra price. The motel doesn’t have any king beds. This motel 6 smells like urine, leaking water from ceiling has trash cans catching the water. Very musty.

I liked that the property was close to my destination in Glenview. There's no shortage of stores or restaurants nearby but not a lot really walkable. There wasn't really Wi-Fi available to speak of.

You can include that detail in your review like this: I recently stayed at this Motel 6, and it was a huge disappointment. The property is run-down, with a broken bathtub, a nasty odor in the room, and dirty bedsheets. Even the door was a struggle to open—it needed someone to push it hard from the inside. This place really tarnishes the Motel 6 name. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

First room 262, second room 268. First room kinda weird idk what it was but that door was the only door that had a silver plate wrapped around from inside the room to outside of the room next to the lock. No other doors had that so that seemed sketchy. The room was a complete dungeon from wifi, with multiple devices. It only worked if I was outside of the room or hotel. the AC was really weak but I thought it was just me at first and the bed was hard as a rock. Eventually I switched rooms. As soon as I opened the door it REAKED of chemicals but I thought nothing of it and didn't want to bother the person down stairs to switch again. At least the AC was stronger than the first room though. wifi is kinda better here. At least my phone was able to find it but wouldn't connect for very long or it seemed to kinda work when I'm next to the windows or out of my room. The bed was softer than the first room, or at least it sinks more when I sit down. The next morning was... Interesting, while getting ready for work there were a few bugs in the bathroom that I had to kill and then the smell from the chemicals clicked, it seems the bugs in the room weren't fully exterminated. And just spent a few hours prepping at home to deal with bed bugs. Had to throw out left over food. I do recommend replacing the remote in room 268, half of the buttons worked on it, the shower head was also cracked and spraying everywhere. Any door that needed a key, also needed to be shoulder checked to open them
