I was, of course, incredibly nervous about timing everything so that I could propose before we got into our room, especially since I was planning to do it off-site and I knew once we were checked in we would spend the day enjoying the Gaylord's amenities. Fortunately for us, the front desk team were incredible co-conspirators. They helped me coordinate the day, gave us a complimentary upgrade, and sent us a free bottle of champagne and desserts. After I proposed, the team went even further above and beyond my expectations by sending up a card all of them had signed for us. That little gesture means so much to me and my fiancee. We will definitely be back."

"We loved this place and will come back if we can. I loved that I felt close to nature, even though I could see the Gaylord from afar! We had a view of Lake Grapevine, a nice back patio, mature trees, and privacy! This was a COLD weekend and the heater worked well! House is older but we like that. Lots of character, everything was clean, beds soft, plenty of blankets. We needed one random thing and the owner answered quickly and got it to us! Coffee pot and grains provided, plenty of clean towels, and about a 5 minute drive to downtown Grapevine. We also walked to the Lake and did a few trails!! Only had a few cars pass us on the way there. The neighborhood feels kind of hidden and obviously people don’t use it as a shortcut to get around town. I felt safe!"
