What we liked: - Hotel is well located - Room size and configuration - Great staff What we did not like: - The terrasse/patio was not accessible and we were looking forward to go have drinks there and enjoy the view. - Air conditioning system did not smell good, seems it needs a good cleaning. - Water does not drain well in the toilet, sinks and tub. I unfortunately fell in the tub on our first evening in Halifax and got pretty seriously hurt and it changed/negatively impacted the rest of our vacation. I feel the bad draining and accumulation of water and soap probably contributed to this incident. - Not as nice as on the pictures. Age is starting to show so this hotel will soon need a complete refresh. - Breakfast is so so. There could be more options and better food.

Nice hotel, good walking distance for restaurants and shops. Only downfall is the 25$ a night parking either out front or underground. That is way too much. Half that would be reasonable but IMO parking should be free when you book a stay.

Great breakfast and location. Screaming children running in the halls at 11pm wasn’t ideal - soundproofing wasn’t great so it was very loud. Overall a good spot that I’d recommend.

Fabulous location downtown. We close to so much that needs to be seen in Halifax. Room and bed were comfy. Breakfast is the bomb! Tater tots for the win! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!!

Excellent breakfast. Front desk staff were efficient and friendly. We booked a room with a pull out couch as were travelling with our kids. No bedding was provided even though I included the children on my booking. When I called for bedding they delivered one sheet and a thin blanket. No pillows. When I answered the door the staff member just kind of threw the bedding and left so quickly I didn’t get a chance to ask for anything additional. The pullout couch was so uncomfortable my kids ended up sleeping on the floor.The hotel itself was updated but our rooms was very worn looking. Might be time to do this. We paid almost $600 for 2 nights plus parking at an additioal $25 per day. For $300 a night I was a bit disappointed.
