We stayed for a few nights in October and would definitely stay here again. We decided not to rent a vehicle since it seemed like many tours and city buses stopped either right in front or nearby the hotel. There was plenty of shopping stores on site at the resort but the Ala Moana shopping center was also a few bus stops away. The rooms themselves were clean and had plenty of supplies stocked. Despite the strike that was happening in the area, the employees that were still working were very hospitable and polite. We had an incident where my mother lost her ID and, luckily, it was found and turned into security so we were able to get it back. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would consider returning again. The only downside was that not all the restaurants were open during our stay but, again, nothing that couldn't be resolved. We ended up ordering from the Tapa Bar and everything was great. Thank you to all the staff!

5 months prior to our stay I called the front desk and asked that we have a room on one of the highest floors. We are celebrating my Wife's Birthday and our Anniversary. We were assured that would not be a problem. When we went to check in we found out we were assigned a lower level (4th floor).and couldn't even see Diamond Head. That coupled with the striking problems ruined our 2 night stay. Staff was not helpful with the exception of a Front Desk employee named Joe who tried to help out. He normally works in Grand Rapid. We probably won't be using Hilton again.

I loved the beach setting. Different varieties of places to shop and eat. I didnt like that i paid for housekeeping amenities and didnt received them. I have to go find towels, toilet paper and trash bags every day of my stay here. Had to sleep on the same linen as well.

This is a beautiful property. Everything you need is here. Employees are friendly and great care is taken by workers to make sure everything is running smoothly. When you have anything that you need at your room you can simply text and the hotel promptly responds. Like 5 minutes. During our stay the world Pokémon championships were taking place during the first three days. I feel the hotel was much too congested at this time. After that was clued up the congestions lifted and it was a more relaxing stay. Mahalo!

I honestly expected more from a hilton hotel resort, the rooms really need to updated!! The hotel is located in a central area which was probably the best thing. The pools were very dirty, dingy and smelled like chlorine not recommended unless you want a yeast infection. there was no play area for smaller kids. The poolside food areas did not offer tasty food and very overpriced for the quality. Very disappointed !!

The property is beautiful and the location is fantastic! Right on the beach. There are a lot of amenities. The gym had some equipment that was broken and needs updating. The rooms in the Rainbow tower have incredible views but the tvs weren’t smart tvs so you couldn’t watch Netflix and the dvds that they had are a little out of date for this type of hotel. The rooms definitely needed some updating for the price. They look like they hadn’t been updated in years. No privacy in the bathroom at all. The shopping was great! The staff were all so friendly! Definitely good points but the biggest complaint was the rooms as they look 20 years old. Also need better pillows. The pillows are flat and hard to sleep on. I would rate 4 stars because the property is so beautiful but 3.5 stars because of old outdated rooms. Also, expect to spend $75 plus more per day for upgraded rooms and resort charge and taxes. That was a bummer.
