Updated 3 BR 3 BA luxury Home with private pool and beautiful views of the lagoon at 6 Topside. Big lagoon views, nice outdoor living space, open kitchen, granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, hardwood floors, three large bedrooms and three full baths make this home a wonderful vacation spot for your family. Enjoy World Class amenities in Palmetto Dunes while only minutes to the beach, restaurants and shops.

Family room is located right off the kitchen area so you can chat with the family while they watch a movie or ball game. Large kitchen has everything you will need to enjoy every meal. You can grill out on the deck your favorite steak or fresh seafood you just caught on your fishing trip. Living room and dining area are separate and give you room to spread out with the family. You get to enjoy the pool and lagoon views from living room, family room, kitchen and dining area too. Very large deck with two dining tables and chairs. Pool has six lounge chairs too. Three car passes included with the rental.

Nice furniture include with 2 King Beds, 1 Queen, 1 Twin and 2 fold out couches with new paint and more updates. What a wonderful luxury vacation home for your family to enjoy. Free wifi included too. Garage is not available for guests but there is a very long driveway for parking. Beautiful new driveway and newly landscaped front and back yards too.

Master Bedroom is a very nice size with views of the pool and lagoon. The master suite has en suite full bath updated with granite and high vanities. Hot tub is in the master suite to relax after a long day at the beach or on the golf course. One guest room is furnished with a king bed and en suite updated luxury bathroom. Second guest room will have a queen bed and a twin, bunk beds are gone. Family room is furnished with a fold out couch so the home can sleep nine people. Wonderful home for the family to enjoy and spread out with private pool. Very convenient beach access with 15 minute walk, 5 minute bike ride or even faster in the car.

Palmetto Dunes has world class amenities with three championship golf courses, miles of bike paths, spectacular tennis and pickle ball courts and access to miles of white sandy beaches. Just across 278 is Shelter Cove, only minutes away you can enjoy waterfront restaurants and shops. Every Tuesday in the summer, you can watch fireworks over the harbor in Shelter Cove. Hilton Head offers 30 golf courses, 400 tennis courts, 117 miles of bike paths and 17 miles of beaches. Restaurants abound with over 250 choices for dining and you can shop until you drop at over 240 shops and boutiques.

Beautiful home and serene outdoor area
This property is beautiful and just as pictured! It is pretty far into Palmetto Dunes, but it is quiet and serene. The interior is the perfect size and nicely updated. We spent mornings on the deck drinking coffee and watching the wildlife (you will see lots of turtles and alligators). The pool is a nice size. Unfortunately it is only cleaned once a week because of staff shortages at the pool cleaning companies, but if you keep up with skimming the pool it won’t be too bad. We have been coming to Hilton Head for years and have stayed in a few different areas, but this was by far our favorite and we hope to return to this house.

Perfect Layout
This house had a perfect layout. Our favorite part was essentially two living rooms with TVs. In the evenings when we were winding down the adults could watch what they wanted in the main living room while the kids watched a movie they wanted in theirs. The lagoon was very peaceful in the back yard to start your day with a coffee down there. Kitchen was plenty big and the deck out back was perfect.

Lovely house
House was as advertised. Lives well. Waterway out back is close and wildlife is hugely abundant. Pool is nice, new grill, good hanging space. Kitchen is decently stocked. Master bed is oddly noisy (mattress creaks loudly), but is comfortable. Our first time staying in Palmetto Dunes. It’s a bit remote, takes 8+ mins to get out of the property, and beach is not particularly walking distance, so we had to do a car/bike ballet to get the family and beach stuff to/from.

Our family enjoyed our stay! We had minor things that were really housekeeping issues such as light out in master shower and "pink room" had some cosmetic damage to the closet door and off the track. The biggest issue we had was the outdated washer kept leaking on the laundry room floor. Talked to the property manage who contacted the mtc person who then got back with us that the washer was beyond repair.as he was just there the week prior. So washing 2 beach towels at a time for 6 people and having to clean up water on the floor after every load wasn't fun. The issue was never resolved during the week we were there nor were we ever contacted again. House is good size and private. The location of the property was quiet and the canal was busy with wildlife most of the day. Got some great pictures of the birds and gators and the deer that hung out in the area every night. Location to beach access could be closer but not a deal breaker. Our first stay in Palmetto Dunes and we were pleased about the distance to stores and restaurants. Overall nice place and I'm sure they will replace the washer but sure wasn't something I wanted to deal with for a week.

Great home great view
House was great. Looked just like the picture but better outside. May have got a paint job or the picture made it look pinkish? Firepit did not exist so I would remove that from pictures other then that great. Awesome area. 15 minutes walk to beach but the community offers free shuttle to the beach with a small wait, but that’s awesome. Short drive to Kroger, restaurants etc. The home looked like pictures inside, Huge rooms, bathrooms are large and kitchen was also big enough for 4 adults cooking and hanging out. Only downside was no access for the garage. Would have been nice to be able open it from the front and use it without walking around to go through side door for beach gear etc...

The house was amazing! Pictures on site are older for some. Owner has painted the house, kitchen, bathrooms all brand new and super clean. Plenty of space and living area all the way through the home. New everything almost. View is awesome with the awesome wildlife, close enough to the beach with a short bike ride or take the shuttle. Pool, yard, rooms all perfect. Highly recommend this house and Palmetto Dunes. I've been coming here over 26 years. Fyi, the house is on a fresh water lake not the main lagoon. Cool to see 2 gators and the Osprey. 5 star!!!!

A little disappointed
The house had roaches (not water bugs, which one might expect on a lagoon). Many of the items in the kitchen had old food caked on them. Dishwasher didn't work. No sheets available for pull out couch. Also, no blanket. Beds had sheet and comforter or bedspread but no blankets, so bring blankets. Pool heat didn't work, which was not a problem as things do break at times, but we were never refunded our money paid for the pool heat. Communication with manager was sparce on his end. We asked for pool heat to be turned on Monday so it would be available by Tuesday. They came to turn it/try to fix it on the day before we were leaving. Manager agreed that roaches wouldn't be expected in Palmetto Dunes home, but he never offered to send someone out to spray. We always try to be kind and never have left a bad review. We are easy and rarely complain. Overall, the house itself is nice. The bathrooms and bedrooms were clean. We have stayed in Palmetto Dunes in the past, and we highly recommend this neighborhood. Our trip was good. We love the bike trails and HHI.

Rough start
We arrived at 4:20 after a long drive to find the cleaners still in the house. They asked for another 30 mins. We waited outside until they left. While the bedrooms and bathrooms were clean , the living areas were not. The floors were dirty, so much so that our feet and socks were black! The refrigerator was dirty and had lots of food from the previous renters! So much for Covid cleaning! Calls to the property manager were unable to go through because voice boxes were full to all numbers. Like I said, rough start. Having said all that, the house is beautiful and we enjoyed the pool. . The views of the lagoon are pretty and we experienced very few mossies!

Great house, great location
Better in person even than in the photos. Hadn’t been to Palmetto Dunes before and fell in love with the community. Beautiful but quiet with great beaches. House was airy and light filled. Beds were awesome (memory foam I think). Pool was large (was worried photos had made it look bigger than it’d be in reality but it was as pictured). Property company friendly and responsive. Would definitely stay here again.

Great for family
This rental was awesome! They have a shuttle in connection with neighborhood that takes you to surrounding restaurants, shops and private beaches. The home itself is a great set up with TONS of privacy and personal space. The location of the home is in the very very back of the community which was difficult with transportation and going to and from places. But the access to the beach is great and all staff was extremely communicative!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Location was great. House was clean and had plenty of room for 7 people with a great floor plan. The only downside was the pool turned green after a few days of being there. I don't think the filter was working.

Nice home with good lagoon views. About 15 minute walk to the beach. Beds were comfortable and very few maintenance/cleanliness issues compared to other homes we've stayed in. There was a delay in getting the pool heater running, but the property manager credited me accordingly and once it was running, the pool warmed up quickly. If I could change anything about this home, it would be nice to be closer to the beach or to have bikes/beach supplies available for use (you can rent them on the island, but it is pricey). The beach access parking lot was closed due to the Covid pandemic, but I'm sure if it was open, it wouldn't have been such an inconvenience. Additionally we couldn't really enjoy the warm nights outside as there isn't a screened in area and the bugs were biting being so close to the lagoon!

Property was as described and rental agent/company was available to answer any and all questions. Despite the house being a little further out from the beach and main area of the plantation, it was easy to navigate to the beach on bikes and we had a great vacation.

Great house with a pool!
The home was very nice and the pool was great. The filter for the pool wasn’t working when we first checked in but they came and fixed it quickly. Nice quiet location. Short drive to parking for beach access in the community. No one provided us with the code to the garage for parking, but we also never asked. We would book it again!
