The Fairmont Quasar Istanbul was a great hotel to stay at while I vacationed in Istanbul. The hotel is located off of a busy freeway. If you happen to have a room that faces north like we did, you will hear sirens from emergency vehicles quite often, however Istanbul is a very large busy city, and most hotels that you stay at would be similar. If you can manage, try to get a room facing the south for a fantastic view of the Bosphorus river, and a quieter room experience.

Great hotel and comfortable. Housekeeping on the 18th floor was very helpful and great!!! Tried the breakfast and staff were amazing as well. Bed was on the soft side but ok. Aircon in the room 👍👍👍 concerige promised to WhatsApp me something but never did maybe he forgot. They forgot to clean our room one time but they did it fast while we were out for dinner. The location is a bit far from main tourist attraction like blue mosque and galata tower. But worked well for us as we don’t like a very touristy location. Easy to call Uber from hotel.

What a fantastic experience at the Fairmont. We celebrated our anniversary and we were delighted with our stay. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was special, comfortable and memorable. The small additional personal details from the staff did not go unnoticed. The hotel oozes luxury and you will be left with memories that will last a lifetime. I cannot thank you enough Fairmont staff - you were truly amazing!

Lovely luxurious hotel in Istanbul , good quality breakfast, polite staff. Indoor and outdoor pools. But the hotel is a 45 min taxi ride to all the major sightseeing places and tourist areas , not much to do in the hotel vicinity. I did suggest to the hotel reception to consider providing a hotel shuttle for guests. I liked the hotel but we spent a lot on taxis ( hotel staff are happy to call them ) , they also recommended a really good boat tour .

The hotel is nice as you expect from Fairmont but the location is awful in terms of traffic close to hotel. Taxis don’t like to come this location and at times it will take 45 minutes to get a taxi!!! Or on the way back the taxis ask you to get off somewhere close to hotel and you have to walk back to hotel! Stay away as I won’t recommend Istanbul for many reasons. Safety, freedom and NOT TOURISTS FRIENDLY
