Book a hotel near Lake Aoki, Omachi

"This facility is suitable for relaxing all the time with big outside bathtub and quiet room. We could stay in safe and really enjoy all of the time. Especially when we were in the 2nd floor in our room to take a outside bath, we were amazed by the beautiful sight of the stars. Although the temperature was so low, I guess it’s below zero, we were so excited to staring at the stars thanks to the hot spring. Needless to say the room is comfortable; warm, clean and enought space and amenities to stay luxury. The facility is the best to stay relaxed and enjoy the magnificent nature. "

"Stayed here for 4 nights and it was the perfect spot for skiing. Just opposite the beginner slope chair lift and only a short walk from the ski school. The staff were excellent and very welcoming, especially the man at reception. We really appreciated the buffet dinner after long days of skiing. Would definitely recommend booking a stay here. Rooms are very cosy and beds are comfy."

"Worst hotel experience I’ve ever dealt with. Unable to get to the hotel because the only road to the hotel was closed. Hotel customer service was out-sourced and I had to talk to someone out of Japan that did not know anything about the hotel or roads in the area. After about 2 hours of back-and-forth via emails, they finally provided a number to the actual hotel, but the language barrier was a challenge. They agreed to cancel the reservation and agreed to provide a full refund, however, spending over 2 hours with 2 young kids trying to get to the hotel was definitely not how we wanted to end our snow day. We had to look for a last minute hotel booking to ensure we had a place to stay for the night. Be careful of this hotel. Pictures can be deceiving. Customer service is out-sourced to a different county."

"I really enjoyed my time at Dark Horse. The owner and staff are warm and welcoming, and helped out in many ways, both big and small. Breakfasts and dinners were good and the lounge/dining room was a comfortable place to relax after riding. It was great value for the money. I would recommend it, and would stay there again without hesitation."

"The inn proprietors were exceedingly helpful, friendly and kind. We felt very welcomed. The onsen bath was beautiful and very relaxing. They provided some nice spa products that I enjoyed. The breakfast buffet was delicious with many local products used. Dinner at the restaurant was colorful and delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. "

"We stayed for 3nights during the winter season. The host is super friendly and cheerful. The location is very close to Goryu ski resort which is about only 5min drive. The inner design is also very beautiful. We will definitely come again for next visit."
