Great Hotel going to wreck and ruin
I stay at this hotel every year for our works Xmas night out. I cannot believe how much it has gone down hill since last year. Staff absolutely terrible clearly hate their jobs and rude to guests. This morning whilst checking out the lady just left me standing there whilst she had a chat to her mate. The bar had no draught and sold out of bottled lager by 5.30pm there is a Morrisons up the road surely someone could go and buy some.

We waited 45 minutes to collect our keys having checked in online & was told we still needed to queue so pointless doing it online. The bedroom was ok , dated but ok , the air con made a loud noise whilst on . Ideally situated & would be so much better if they got their services up to standard & spent some money on bringing the bedrooms up to a lot of most other hotels standards

Impressive and modern bar and check in. Very large room but thats where the positive ends unfortunately. Booked a room.for me and my wife and spwnt most of the night falling and getting trapped down the gap between the single beds pushed together to make a double. Is it really too much to as for a double bed? Pillows were none existant. Bathrooms are a throw back to the 90s and very tired. 1 towel.to share. Good job we dont mind. Nearly got divorced because only 1 coffee and 1 hot chocolate sachet provided and we had to rock paper scissiors on who got it? Again is it too much to ask for a hot chocolate each? A coffee each? A towel each? The shower i have had faster leaks on a tap and the shampoo and conditioner bottles in the shower are pointless if they are empty. Cheap cost cutting and lack of attention. I dont usually write reviews good or bad but i simply had to on this occasion. Worst hotel experience i have had in years and would not return or recommend.

What's all the fuss?
Wouldn't rush to stay here again. Luckily I cashed in reward nights, if I'd paid full price I would not be happy. Booked a twin, on arrival at room it was a double. Back down to reception to be told (rather condescendingly) that if you book through a third party website always contact the hotel if you have specific requests. So the fact my booking states two beds was ignored. Due to hotel being full we were unable to be relocated. The tap on the wash handbasin leaked all over the back of the sink and the shower head would not stay angled correctly for having a shower, ended up having to hold it with one hand while trying to shampoo hair and wash.

I was quite disappointed with the Radisson Blu Hotel in Leeds, most likely because I had quite high expectations. The check-in was OK, but after a long journey I could do without the correction of how I informed about my name etc. Also I was not aware of the rule not to make-up the room. I agree with the policy not to change the sheets and towels etc, but not to make-up the room saves money and not the environment. The carpet was quite dusty and I had no body soap in the shower, still after asking 2 times. Not too impressed with the breakfast either. To be fair, after asking, my room was made-up every day and they did an extra vacuum cleaning of the carpet.

Very friendly staff at reception and in the breakfast area. Dana in particular was a joy to deal with. Hotel clean and comfortable. Bedroom spacious, clean and well equipped. Excellent central location. Convenient underground parking in ‘the Light. We miss the discounted parking charge the Radisson used to offer which we have enjoyed on previous visits.
