On arriving, one of our door “keys’ didn’t work. There were no hangers for the closet, no rod to hang things in the “closest” alcove, no towel racks in the bathroom, no toilet paper holder. The room was clean, and the beds were very comfortable and the refrigerator was great. Because there was no housekeeping (or even a broom) supplied, the floors got quite gritty. Our room was non-smoking; and the motel was quite empty of other travellers. Somehow, the front desk staff rented nearby rooms to smokers who gathered outside to visit, so our air conditioning unit sucked in all the smoke from their cigarettes.

This property is clearly under construction as the new owners renovate. The rooms were clean, the mattresses very comfortable. No amenities at all, but for a quick overnight stay in the Kawartha’s at half the price of other hotels in the area, it worked just fine for us.

Easy check in and very nice person at the front desk. The room smells like smoke , the bathtub faucet was dripping excessively, there were no towel racks in the bathroom, only 2 hangers, very cheap soap ( not really soap at all). Ac worked well.
