Great Hotel in a perfect location
Excellent Hotel in a superb location, particularly for the cable car to the o2 Arena. Good friendly service, plentiful and tasty breakfast and spotlessly clean. Will definitely stay again.

Overpriced, poorly maintained!
Welcoming staff on arrival and check in. Lots of technical issues with the room phones, couldn’t call room service had to go downstairs to order at the reception and still got charged a delivery fee. Very annnoying. Engineer tried to fix phone. Apparently a recurring issue. No fix so had to keep going down to order room service. Breakfast was a fiasco. No one directing customers. We all sat down then got charged for breakfast that was included in our bill because inclusive breakfast was around the corner but no one told us to go there or asked if we had it. Very convenient. Argumentative restaurant staff didn’t e en listen to our explanations. Very annoyed.

We were very upset to be told on check in (not booking) that the pool was closed. This was a special treat for my daughter’s birthday and chose the hotel so we could enjoy the facilities. Very disappointed to find out they were not in use! Check in was very very slow… even though there were 4 people behind the desk doing other things non guest related. We went to breakfast at 10.30…. We had missed it and I had paid extra for breakfast.. both my daughters and I remembered being told it was served to 11. There was no effort at all to give us any food so yet again, after not being able to swim… we were unable to eat. The lifts were also ooo a lot so we had to use stairs to level 4.

Chose this hotel because of the swimming pool and spa facility. Paid a premium at the time for the area. Booked on 2nd September, and got a confirmation confirming times of the pool opening etc. However, 2 days prior to my arrival got an email with a comment at the bottom saying spa and swimming pool closed for refurbishment. Now too late to change to different hotel as rates had almost tripled. Really disappointed the hotel didn’t inform at booking. There was nowhere it implied this was essential maintenance and unforeseen, so suspect wasn’t told until last minute so didn’t cancel booking.
