Pretty good medium-range independent hotel, good value for money, helpful staff. Some of the rooms are spacious but others a bit small. The locks on the doors need changing as they are very difficult to open! Really lovely breakfast offered at local cafe and extensive room service delivery option.
I had to stay longer then I predicted, my bad luck, beding very old, stained, rooms very small, exoensive, bkack tovel for body but none for face.

261 adequate
A very comfortable hotel with no frills. If you’re looking for a comfortable, clean place to get your head down, this place fits the bill. Inexpensive and in a good location.
It was a single day stay. All was seamless and prefect, from arrival to check-out. Not costly, affordable and great return for my money. Next time in the area, I will stay at Hotel261 again
1. Water pressure in shower was non existent and took ages to get hot water.
2. No ironing board
3. Plenty of mirrors in the room 😁
4. Very dated and could do with a refurbishment.
The hotel was better than I expected, the rom was small but not too small and it had an en-suite Bathroom. There was tea and coffee in the room and also biscuits which I thought was lovely. The hotel has free wifi and also a tv in the room. The hotel also offers breakfast. There are bars, restaurants and shops nearby plus regular bus services. There are some down sides, the shower cubical opens directly into the main bedroom, the cubical door is not entirely water proof so the room flooded when I had a shower also the shower head was damaged so the water shot out like a hose. The bed was harder than I am used to and the place was a little tired looking. On the whole it was a good place to stay if you only need somewhere to sleep, when I return to London I would be happy to stay here again.
The room size was compact but had all basic amenities.
Room cleaning was done daily and for the price I strongly recommend staying at this hotel which is very budget friendly and comfortable stay.
I don’t think hotel deserves the 2.5 stars the hotel has. The staff was helpful only issue we had was about the £20 deposit we had to give for the keys which we were unaware about. For this, we had to go to a cash point to withdraw money however the staff was helpful and allowed us to keep our bags at the hotel whilst we went to go get the money. It wasn’t ideal but these things happen. The rooms were clean and had 0 issues with it. For the free breakfast it is about a 5 minute walk down the street to this little Italian cafe and the breakfast there is amazing everyday we had something different and the staff in the cafe are so kind.
Overall I think this hotel is worth staying and definitely deserves a higher rating than it currently has.

Good enough, average stay, pay for what you get. Would stay again as well priced. Room was decent.
Breakfast was quite poor. Poor service and didn’t want to serve. No menu. No service. Just 2 options for breakfast. Asked for an orange juice and got given soda water and orange. Tried to claim it was orange juice. said i was having a ‘full english’ which was 2 fried eggs, a piece of ham and a slice of bread. Crap.
Lovely hotel, close to metro, clean, well kept and friendly staff.

Room was clean but the bed was not very comfortable, the pillows were really lumpy. The room was on the lower ground floor with a window onto a passageway. There was a lot of noise of people moving around in the room overhead.
The hotel was good for a short stay. A big bed in a decent area was all I was looking for which this hotel provided. However, the environment could’ve been a bit cleaner. The chair in my room had stains all over it (I didn’t bother using or touching it) and looked as though the cover could simply be washed. Part of the wall paper was peeling off (which didn’t impact my stay obviously) but a simple fix could make it look nicer. The bed sheets had some stains- though they smelt clean. And the hand soap/body wash provided smelt terrible. Overall, it was still a decent stay but I think a few fixes could help a lot.
