Great place to stay
The boat was well maintained, staff really friendly, we never stayed on yacht as had lots planned but did get up each morning for a breakfast amend was pleasantly surprised with plenty of choice. Full English. Room clean although slight noise that sounded like a fan but could have been the engines maintaining electrics etc. but I would recommend and my wife and I would like to visit again.

Car parking could be better.
The only downside to this hotel for us was the lack of carparking. We had to use the excel arena carpark at £25 per 24hrs. It’s nearby but access isn’t great as excel was closed to the public and security staff made people walk around the outside of the arena through the loading areas to retrieve cars. Not safe. Sunborn should make a better arrangement for vehicles, better price, easier access etc.

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the recent experience during our stay at your hotel. My husband and I were there for a special occasion—a surprise 50th birthday celebration—and, unfortunately, the stay was marred by significant disturbances that severely impacted our experience. We were subjected to constant loud noises and aggressive knocking between 1:00 AM and 2:30 AM. This disrupted our sleep and left us feeling unsettled. To make matters worse, housekeeping began knocking on our door at around 10:30 AM, which was quite early, especially given the late-night disturbances we had already endured. My husband, who had to wake up very early for work, was particularly affected by this, leaving him tired and upset the following day. This was meant to be a memorable and joyful occasion, but the noise and lack of consideration from the staff unfortunately cast a shadow over the celebration. My husband was left disappointed, which also affected me deeply, given the effort I put into making his 50th birthday a special one. I hope you can understand the frustration and disappointment we feel. We chose your hotel expecting a peaceful and pleasant stay, but instead, it turned into a source of stress and discomfort. I kindly request that you look into this matter and take appropriate actions to ensure that such disturbances do not happen to other guests in the future. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Unique experience, smart choice
Th Sunborn is a unique experience, our room was large, on the 1st floor, and easy to reach. Hotel entry is by a quayside lift. It's very close to Custom House station where you can use the Elizabeth Line from Heathrow. Getting to downtown was easy, either by the DLR or Elizabeth Line. Take the breakfast option, it's buffet style. You must get there early to have the Dutch pastries as they run out. There are some restaurants nearby, the Thai place at the end of the Quay has a good curry. The hotel is secure, swipe card access for everything. The area seemed quiet. We barely heard the jets from the adjacent airport through the multi-glazed windows, flights aren't that often. A do Vido shout out to Alex, the clerk who received us. All their staff is friendly but he went above and beyond to make us feel welcome upon arrival. We'd stay here again!

Overnight trip for anniversary.
Fabulous place to stay, room was huge. Bed comfy and all very clean, there was a safe in the room, a fridge, tea/coffee facility. The Afternoon tea was delicious. Breakfast very good. A lovely place to stay with shops and restaurants near by.
