We had to take a taxi from airport because the hotel said they did not offer transportation. The advertisement offered an airport shuttle. What they failed to say was that they only had a shuttle to the airport and not both ways. This started our trip with a really bad taste in our mouth. A word of warning. Never use the taxi service in Burbank. They are terrible. Use Uber or do like we did once we arrived to our hotel, use the public bus system because it stopped right in front of the hotel and the routes took you to the front doors of the major attractions in Burbank at only $2 a person. What a bargain!

Charming hotel in Burbank California. The area it’s located in isn’t particularly busy, but it is cramped due to its location and surrounding properties. Excellently kept rooms and facilities. The check in times were a little odd (check in at 4pm) but not unreasonable. Excellent location to near by attractions.

Overall the room was very clean, staff was friendly. Even though disclosed on the website, the pool across at the other property wasn't the best and the area around the safari hotel looked a bit run down. The breakfast options were expensive, we didn't take advantage of that due to the expense.

Property was fine and clean.. but i didnt like the area, and window view from my room was to the back of the Property and there was junk thrown there. $268 a night is a lot for a place like that and to see view like that, maybe they should take in consideration reduce the price.

Front desk was nice, accommodated our early check in but we arrived later than planned and the room was not ready (needed inspection). When we saw it, we didn’t know how it had passed inspection. Parking was easy but pool was at adjacent motel as was laundry. Wifi was slow and problematic. Kept limiting us to 3 of 4 guests at a time.

The property is great for those only going to Universal Studios. If you want to leave Burbank, there is no transportation and Lyft/ Uber are pricey.

Burbank hotel gem.
This hotel is a gem. Like a family style hotel with much larger rooms and shower The onsite restaurant is very good and the bar is also not to be missed especially the barman Dennis you feel you’ve known him all your life. The free shuttle to/from Burbank airport and the theme parks is also a huge plus. All the staff are very friendly.

We have stayed at the Coast Annabelle several times and have never been disappointed. Staff is always welcoming and friendly, especially at the Olive Bistro. Food is great there! My only suggestion, which I gave during my last visit, is to put a grab bar in the shower.
