To begin with…. NO AC IN LOBBY AREA. This is Cabo! You MUST have AC in your common areas. Reception is close to poorest I have ever experienced with all inclusive resorts. They do not allow late check out, if you are not out of your room at 11am SHARP THEY CHARGE YOU 50 dlls. So massive lines at lobby to check out. If you don’t show your boarding pass you can’t stay past 1pm in the pool area. Food is poor, they charge for room service. I had ants in my room, they accommodated to a new room, thank you for that.

All inclusive is not really worth it as the food is not that great/low quality and the drinks are also not good. The rooms are okay, smaller than I thought. Lots of construction going on all around the property. There were wholes in the ceilings all over the hotel. However, the property was kept clean. The kids slides were closed during our stay which was one of the main reasons we chose to stay so that was disappointing. Also, could not reserve, during our 3 night stay, at the nicer restaurants that are included in all inclusive and for which you need to reserve through their online app as “capacity was maxed” during one attempt and on the other they were closed those days. It wasn’t terrible but I would rate 3 out 5.

I recently stayed at Royal Solaris and was extremely disappointed with my experience. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that the resort was not well-maintained.. Jacuzzi had to be cleaned and A/C had to be fixed. Room was as hot as it is outside. We stayed in an ocean view room with a jacuzzi on the balcony. But the balcony’s rails/walls are so low you can easily peak over and check out your neighbor! No privacy!! The food at the resort's restaurant was absolutely awful. This resort was hit with a little tropical storm and the entire roof fell in multiple areas of the resort! Half the resort was blocked off with caution tape from the entire building collapsing from the rain. So we wasted a whole day of vacation locked in our room. I understand this country doesn’t see rain as often but should be prepared for anything! We also woke up to our room flooded because of the rain! Drainage system is messed up and the doors are not completely sealed. The amenities were either closed or in poor condition. The pool area was dirty and overcrowded, there’s literally rebar sticking out in some areas. Most of the restaurants, buffets, and pool bars either closed early or opened late according to their “scheduled hours.” All drinks are made with a few tsp of alcohol. Overall, this resort was a huge disappointment and waste of money. They need to spend a good chunk of money to fix this place for how much money we spent. The quick and cheap repairs are very obvious.

Review of Royal Solaris: A Disappointing Stay I recently stayed at the Royal Solaris with high hopes, but unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations. If you’re considering booking a stay here, I strongly recommend saving your money and looking for a better hotel. Food: A Major Letdown One of the biggest disappointments was the food. Considering the price we paid, I expected a much higher standard. Unfortunately, the majority of the dishes were bland and lacked variety. The dining experience was made even worse by the outdated reservation system, which is managed through an app that feels like it hasn’t been updated in decades. Forcing guests to navigate this clunky system only added to the frustration. Room service, though available for a $6 fee, was another letdown. Not only did it take over 30 minutes to arrive, but it often came with errors, requiring an additional 20 minutes to correct. The quality of the food was no better than what was served in the dining areas—bland and uninspiring. Cleanliness Issues The cleanliness of the rooms was also disappointing. The vents were extremely dirty, and the mirrors and glass surfaces were far from spotless. The pool area was equally neglected; it wasn’t properly cleaned, and the children’s slides had stains from paint and other debris. To top it off, we encountered massive cockroaches, which was absolutely unacceptable.

Didn’t like that there was construction going on in an area of resort all day hearing drilling noise. There was no disclosure when booking. Additionally, 9/3 we experienced an earthquake which was really scary for everyone but there was no plan to get people to a safety zone or communication on safety protocols. I decided to leave instead cut my trip short.

I have travelled to numerous countries and resorts before and I can say with confidence that this was the only resort I didn't feel welcomed. The staff were not friendly, especially front desk. I would never come back or recommend. I couldn't wait for my stay to be over.

Lo Primero que no nos gusta es que apenas entras y te atosigan con tanta insistencia de venderte tiempo compartido etc, 2.- la comida esta terriblemente mal, específicamente la de comida y cena, la carne no se podía ni cortar de tan dura y correosa, el desayuno esta mejor, tampoco había suficiente para tanta gente, llegabas una hora más tarde y ya no tenían de esto de aquello etc

The Bad 1. When we got inside of room we found leftover food. 2. Dirty room floor. 3. Water down drinks. 4. Unwelcome sales pitch. 5. Close to impossible to book a reservation for restaurants. The service was very slow. We stayed here one night. At check in we got no information of property grounds or needed any reservations for the restaurants. We literally got no information of anything without asking. Only one bar area open once the pool closes. Only one pool, a lot children. Properly looks old, good for family with kids. Not the style of hotel or service of my choice. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Beautiful room and view very clean and comfortable Some staff were great and some seemed inconvenienced For an all inclusive was disappointed with food quality The bar staff and some of the food staff could benefit from food and beverage hospitality training To be fair hotel was going through renovations and it was low season so they could have been short staffed.
