"The hotel is across the street from Matsue train and bus station. Our room was very quiet and there are lots of places to eat within easy walking distance. Our room was larger than average for Japan. Nothing fan, but clean and comfortable. There is a hotel restaurant but we never ate there due to the high prices. Many better deals nearby."

The towels provided are quite small; offering larger towels or providing more would be a welcome improvement. A laundry facility is available on the second floor, which is convenient. However, the dryer is underpowered, so drying clothes requires splitting loads and additional time, costing around 800 yen altogether. The laundry machines require detergent, but the hotel does not sell any. This could be inconvenient for guests, especially considering that Tokyo laundromats often include detergent automatically. The room also lacks napkins, which can be inconvenient as the provided toilet paper is unsuitable as a substitute. "Great place to stay in Matsue. Super close to the train station, an easy 15-20 min walk to the Castle District. Lots of good restaurants and konbini available nearby. Rooms are small but very comfortable. Hotel is very clean and well-run. A great place to stay."
