Other than the friendly staff, this hotel fell short of expectations. Having stayed at Holiday Inn Express numerous times before at other locations before this stay, my expectations were high. We found leftover food in our fridge, hair in our shower and the hand towel that I unfortunately used to dry my face had something on it that I just couldn’t describe. I was looking forward to breakfast to help make up for the cleanliness, but with limited seating (we ate in our room instead) and a breakfast that fell short I left there feeling very dissapointed. Sadly I’ll be choosing a different location next time or maybe a different chain altogether.

Rooms were clean, beds comfortable! Front desk attendant was very friendly and helpful. I wish I had made note of her name!! A lovely Blonde haired Woman with an effervescent Smile!! Wasn’t a fan of the hot Breakfast; however many others were enjoying it without complaint and I’m really picky!! That being said, I did enjoy a breakfast of Greek Yogurt and a fresh Crunchy Apple with Peanut Butter. The breakfast attendant was very nice and the eating area extremely clean and well maintained!!! Will absolutely return when I need accommodation in the area. Excellent value for the price and convenient to Whitby Go Station!

Was very clean. Pool was a salt water pool which was great. Only had one issue with the toilet which was unable to flush upon arrival. We were waiting on options for a couple hours which made us unable to relax and disrupting our little one’s bedtime routine. The fix was thankfully fast once plumber was there. Breakfast was good, and tables were clean. Overall good stay
