This property is extremely outdated and old. The food selection is horrible. It’s not all inclusive bc the food cuts off at 10pm. This is by far the worst hotel I have ever been to in Jamaica. The tub was filthy.

November 2024 was my 3rd staying at Deja Resort. I loved staying there. What I love most about Deja is that is all local and gives you the real Jamaica experience with friendly and welcoming staff. Deja is always my first choice of places to stay in the Montego Bay "Mobay"

My stay here started off badly. The room was not as described on the site. Its advertised as having a bath, i also put it in my request that it was essential I had a room with a bath because my 2 small children are petrified of the shower. Upon check in when i enquired i was told 'only the suites have baths, everywhere else has a shower.' I explained to that member of staff why i needed a bath and another member of staff blantantly stated theres no bath and that was that. She didnt even look at me when she said it, then she walked away. The room walls were super thin, my 3 year old was crying because it was so loud and he couldnt sleep. The next day i requested a large basin to bath my children. Staff were very helpful with obtaining one for me. I was then approached by the operations manager and she offered to change my room. This was much appreciated. It was a lot quieter and had a bath! The rest of our stay was perfect. The food is delicious with lots of choice. The staff are friendly and always say hello and played with my children. The locals in the area are helpful and approachable, had many helping me trying to locate nappies, looking for a taxi driver, one even offered me her chair so i could rest with my baby who i was carrying. Great location next to the airport I would stay here again, but book the suite next time!

Deja is a great place to stay. Me and my boyfriend throughly enjoyed our time here. From the daily activities, to all inclusive drinks and food, the room, and ESPECIALLY the hotel employees. Everyone there went above and beyond to make sure we had an excellent stay. I would like to shoutout dahlia, Ron, suhbrina, Nadine, Kenny, Damian, Chantelle, and von/john wick. We made so many great connections compared to any other place we have stayed, they truly care to make the best of everyone’s experience. It is right on the strip so it can get a little loud, but we were there to indulge in the Jamaican culture, and this was the perfect hotel to do so. Thank you Deja I WILL be back!!!

The staff was nice and as accommodating but location needs an upgrade. The rooms have no fridges, bed was hard & my door broke in the bathroom. The gym had 2 treadmills and bike and only one treadmill work.
