Book a hotel near Montreal Science Centre, Old Montreal

"The hotel experience was great. The rooms were very clean and modern. The value to dollars spent is fantastic. The continental breakfast had a nice variety of options and was tasty. The only "downside" - and I'm nitpicking here - was a lack of restaurants in the immediate area open for lunch. There are a few places nearby that do open later in the afternoon. I don't think that is the responsibility of the hotel, just be aware you'll have to walk 10 minutes or so up to Rue Sainte-Catherine for a meal. I'm in Montreal a few times a year, I'm going to be a regular at this hotel. "

"The hotel is very well situation, close to the Bell Center, shopping, and sites we wanted to see. The hotel, while older, was generally well cared for. For me the highlight is the outdoor heated pool, which was a reason the hotel was selected. The staff were very professional and pleasant, although service at the bar was disappointingly slow (2 salads, 2 coctails). Finally, a few small things to improve in the rooms; the pillow comfort and the shampoo/conditioners didn't match the hotel quality."
