Rooms are clean but very modest. Loved the beach but could have used more chairs. The volleyball court took too much space and could be better located (moved back closer to the fence) to allow for even more chairs beachside. Hated the music! It sounded like the same song over & over and it definitely shouldn't have been blaring at 6:45 in the morning where it could be heard inside the room. Overall a great trip.

Great but…..
The hotel is an all inclusive. The amenities and entertainment were great. The drinks and food were great. The staff very nice and helpful great service. My issue is the rooms and the cleanliness. The rooms should be so much better. The bathroom tubs title needs a good cleaning. Furniture in room is outdated. Also they don’t like to give you towels. Other that if you don’t mind cleaning then I would definitely suggest this place, but don’t forget your Colorox wipes and Lysol spray.

This was an average resort for me. I have been to several all inclusives and while I have been to many that were a lot better I have been to some that were worse. Pros- Very quiet. I was able to go the lap pool every afternoon and lay on a lounger and nap. The resort was not very busy. We did not have to wait for drinks or food. The small private beach was perfect. Just a few beach loungers and umbrellas and even some floats. There are so many boats, yachts and cruise ships passing by which was so fun to watch. The rooms were nice. Not beautiful, not elegant, but just perfect to sleep in. There was a free shuttle to cabbage beach. But I actually preferred the quiet little private beach at the resort. Cons- Only two restaurants at night and the budget. Only buffet for breakfast when we were there. Buffet for lunch and also a snack area with burgers, quesadillas. The food at the restaurants were not great. They were on par for most all inclusives though. There is no swim up bar. I repeat… no swim up bar. One outside bar walk up and one in the lobby bar. Not ideal. The nightlife is non existent. Music in a large dark room. We had enough people to make our own dance party but otherwise it would have been very lame. The daytime activities were better. Yoga, hula hoop contest, beach volleyball, dj by the outside bar until 6pm. Overall, I personally would not stay here again. Maybe if you were looking for a very low key, quiet vacation with mediocre food and no nightlife.

Staff was not very accommodating or helpful (air conditioner in our room was not working, had to reach out many times in order to get it properly fixed) This happened over multiple days and they did nothing to try to correct it for us. Food was not great either.

Serving staff was great and friendly. Rooms clean and hallways clean. Housekeeping quick to answer calls. The staff members in dress clothes were not very friendly. Two towels in a room is not enough for two adults out of excursions or simply sitting by the pool or ocean. The water coming from the sink and shower has a terrible smell. Housekeeping would clean rooms but not leave towels, had to call to get towels. Pool chairs were saved all day by people that never came and used them, so hard to get one. Never pool towels available. Food was subpar. Edgewater definitely the best place, buffet got rather old with same foods. The view from our room was considered an island view but really it was a view of a nasty dumpster/dumping area. Please don’t label the rooms on west side island view. Have been all over the world and as far as an all-inclusive this wouldn’t be high on my list. More like a hotel with higher services.

Great place!! I stayed here 45 years ago when it was new called Flagler Inn . Good to come back and reminisce. Staff was excellent, food amazing, rooms super clean. I loved cabbage beach with free shuttle although the walk was beautiful. Felt safe everywhere we went and it was nice to be able to walk to the Atlantis. There is also a free nightly shuttle back and forth.

didn't achieve my thumbs up.
Although I paid for 4 nights in advance they only showed my reservation for 3 nites and they said they would correct it but after 3 nights my room key stopped working but after a trip to the front desk they corrected that.very low water pressure in the sink and shower and although I got plenty of rest and the food was excellent,I won't be staying there again.
