The hotel is very nice, but it is difficult to get to your room. You have to go all the way through the large lobby, go up 2 escalators and then to the elevators. There are 8 elevators, but they take a VERY long time coming down! Opt for the king room, not the queen. Huge difference in size and they cost the same amount.

We had an issue with the ac in our room. The staff was amazing with fixing the issue. They deducted the early check-in fee and gave us waters for the inconvenience.

43 anniversary to the hotel we honeymooned in. It showed its age with hot water problems and room wear. Some staff was fantastic others not so fantastic. I have slept on better beds in a Motel 6. Certainly not worth the 400 plus per night room night cost.

Sugar Bowl Stay

Our stay in New Orleans was filled with excitement, and the hotel played a big part in making our trip memorable. The staff was incredibly accommodating and ensured that all of our needs were met promptly and efficiently. The service went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and valued. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and provided a relaxing atmosphere after our busy days exploring the city. The location was convenient, allowing us to easily access local attractions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book here again. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a hassle-free, pleasant experience in New Orleans!

The staff is great Jermaine, Joe and Tony awesome. The breakfast buffet was excellent! The water pressure is terrible, bed and pillows were hard. The bath towels were scratchy. The staff were fantastic! Very helpful and friendly.
