The concierge, Caleb, was wonderful. The young lady in the Coffee Cafe was kind. Housekeeping was very good. However the lady at the front desk during check-in was very unprofessional and cruel. What a terrible introduction to an otherwise nice hotel.

The concierge, Caleb, was great. The young lady at the Coffee Cafe was kind and helpful. Housekeeping was wonderful. No request was too small. However the lady who handled our check-in was unprofessional and thoughtless. To be precise, she was cruel.

The outside was kept original but the inside was up to date; the elevators you had to use your keycard to access the floors which I thought was nice; shower water pressure could’ve been higher

We have stayed at the royal synesta several times. This time however, It just wasn't the same place. There was no room service available and there was no Information regarding hotel amenities available. Late into the Trip. Someone came into our Room and stole from us. They took our Sheets, Toiletrie, chargers, etc. We filed a complaint with the front.Security came up and took our statements, But no one has ever gotten back to us as to what happened Or how they were going to make things right.

I will preface this with saying I was not fully understanding of the bourbon st reputation even in the "off-season" the hotel was beautifully appointed inside but sadly as is the state of our current world situation homelessness was ver apparent on the exterior. The staff of the hotel was wonderfully accommodating and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable, the side st balcony was very nice. The night life of bourbon st was at all times evident, if you cant sleep with noise this is not the place for you. We never felt unsafe but as I'm older and not a partier i felt out of my element. I would highly recommend the hotel if you want to enjoy bourbon st for all its known for.
