"The house was unkept and not very clean , cobwebs and stained carpets , the garden was also very overgrown and not looked after It’s a shame because it is a huge beautiful house with a. Amazing large hall and spiral massive stair case , which from the top floor has a long drop but is so pretty We did enjoy our stay and was plenty of space but it really does need some work as it did ruin our stay a little and for the price you expect it to be clean"

"It was fine for what we needed, a room to sleep in after a concert at Anfield and before our early morning train. We booked the lodge well aware of the neighbourhood and the condition of the property. 25 mins walk from Anfield. To be honest, it exceeded our expectations. The rooms were clean and warm and there was a little welcome tray with biscuits. The only issue was that there were no towels and we had to request them."
