This was our first trip to Aruba, and the Rio Palace was an absolutely beautiful place to stay. The resort is spacious and welcoming, with every staff member making you feel right at home. We stayed in the all-inclusive section, where meals and drinks were part of the package. While my wife and I don’t drink, so I can’t comment on the quality of the cocktails, I did notice plenty of French champagne bottles floating around! The food, however, was exceptional. We were always impressed by the variety offered at every meal. The location of the resort is fantastic—situated in a great part of the island with plenty of entertainment nearby, including restaurants, other resorts, and a ton of activities. Before visiting Aruba, we were frequent guests in Turks and Caicos. Now, we’re torn between the two destinations because each has its own unique vibe. That said, Aruba definitely impressed us with its charm. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone considering a trip to Aruba. It was an unforgettable experience!

Overall the property was amazingly beautiful. The only issue we had was with room service. The minibar was never restocked until the last full day we were there. We had to keep putting in requests to get water and soda for the minibar. The requests were getting completed but we never received the items. We went to the front desk one night and were told someone would bring it up to us. That never happened. The next day we requested the minibar to get restocked again, once again the requests got accepted and completed but we never received the items. We also called down to the front desk to request the restock. Still nothing. We finally went back down to the front desk and explained to them what was going on. They put in a request as well. That night we finally got water but no soda. The next day and only day, the minibar was fully restocked.

Overall this was a nice all inclusive property. The resort is well maintained and my room was nice. The room had somewhat dated furniture in the sitting area, but otherwise was clean and nice. The staff were all friendly and the front desk staff even sent a nice birthday surprise to my room. Meal options were good, as was the option to get breakfast and room service to the room as part of the all inclusive. My only issue with the meals, is that the resort would frequently change the meal times at the buffet or at times in the restaurants and only post a notice outside of them, so I was refused breakfast once at the buffet for coming at 10:30a when it was supposed to be open to 11a and went to dinner one evening at one of the restaurants only to find out that they were closed. The resort should update the hours on the app that most of the resort uses. The pool and beach area are very nice and service there was excellent. The casino is smaller, but still had plenty of machines and tables and was not overly crowed. Close and within walking to shopping and the butterfly farm. Overall, it was a nice stay and a very good option in Aruba.

We never can watch the TV, the TV internet and router no worked. The beach and property was very clean. The foot was excellent and variable. In general was very good.
