"Room was very clean and nice. Refrigerator and freezer with microwave and toaster. Lots of spreading around room. No onsite parking but is easy enough to navigate, although you may need to walk a couple of blocks. Easy beach, restaurant, and shopping access. Would stay here again."

"Went for this past valentines day with my partner. The outer part of the hotel is just old. Nothing that really rose suspicion. Service was good as well, one of the ladies in the front was super nice and welcoming! Our room was standard. The bathroom could use upgrades but overall, it was not an awful hotel. I wouldn't pay attention to most of the reviews. At most the hotel has aged, and I think it adds to the charm. Plus, you're really there for the location. Being less than a minute away from the beach and the restaurant attached to the hotel were the main positives. In summary, the hotel itself isn't horrible but there's room for improvements and upgrades. Those who are looking for just a place to stay to enjoy the city and the beach, I'd stay here for original Miami charm. If you're expecting a high-class experience, draining your wallet elsewhere is probably the best choice. We enjoyed our stay and WILL be coming back!! Go to the Broadmore if you want REAL Miami charm."
