Very poor front desk support late at night except for air crews. Many flights were delayed the night I arrived in Chicago at 3am, and guests were lined up four deep to check-in. While there was a person at the front desk handling check-in for air crews, the one person who was apparently available to check in ordinary guests disappeared for twenty minutes before irate customers asked a security guard to track her down. There could have been a number a factors, but understaff ING seemed like the most likely cause.

The hotel's location virtually adjacent to the Chicago airport was obviously convenient. But the near $300 per night price tag for a dreary, dated hotel with dated thermostats and bathroom was surprising for a Hilton

Directions from inside the airport are terrible. The room I reserved was not available even though I would had to pay anyway. The door to my room was deteriorating and half missing at the bottom. Needs a massive update for the prices being charged.

Yoy don't get what you pay for
Please excuse spelling mistakes. Writing this from a moble. Convienient but expensive, overpriced for sure. I guess yoy are paying for the service quality and proximity to the airport. It's walking distance and you don't need to risk your life walking out in Chicago. You do however need to leave the secure area a need to go back through security screening if you need to return to the airport. The place is nice, what you would expect of a 4 star Hilton. Fitness center is adiquate, not wonderful. Lots of machines for upper body and legs, no mid section (abs). Behind it all you can tell the building is old. Thats not always a bad thing if its kept up well. Unfotunatly this place has been neglected. The rooms and surrounding facilities have been neglected. Cleanliness is seriously lacking in the guest rooms. Outdated rooms are not the problem, its upkeep. Its dirty! Houskeeping needs intervention.
