"The Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort was a great place to be. It was central to many places and it offered a lot of things to do at the resort. Shopping, food was excellent. It did lack a place to hang out after hours to eat and lounge. The Tapa Bar was the only place available but that closed pretty early. In regards to the rooms and hallways, they were outdated, stained and not maintained well. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The beach was right outside our hotel which is a big plus. CONS: Hilton charges a $50 resort fee but still charges you $100 a day for a beach umbrella and chairs. And you have to pay extra to use paddle boats too. What is the $50 for? pool and gym? What a rip off. A beach hotel and it doesn't include the beach accessories with their resort fee. And not to mention, the $70 parking is outrageous. I doubt I will stay here again. Too many fees that add up too quickly."
