"We had a great time at the red star fish. We had some minor hiccups with the stay but nothing that ruined our stay. We had 3 families and we all were very comfortable. Great size kitchen and 3rd floor where we spent most of our time. Great location to the beach. We would do it again for sure. "

"Our daughters and families joined us for a week. It was the most amazing family time. My grandchildren saw the ocean for the first time, fell in love with the beach and created memories for a lifetime. It was a short walk to the beach. The home had everything we needed in the kitchen. The reality company gave us a gift bag of local treats and a beautiful apple pie from a local bakery. We couldn’t have asked for anything more!! "

"We had 5 teenagers and 5 adults. The bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect to give us all our own privacy when needed. The pool and TV area was a major bonus. The most difficult part of the trip was getting over the sand dunes with all of our beach stuff (but that is everywhere on OBX). We all wish we could have stayed longer!"

"The house is roomy and accommodates our size family. The walk to the beach is not bad (10 min) but there is no sidewalks. The house could be cleaned better as there was a lot of dust and some broken furniture. Other than some minor issues a good overall stay. "
