Fair Hotel.
The hotel is a great location. It is older. Rooms have been remodeled but does lack more luster. The room had a window air conditioning unit like you see in houses. I also received a visit by a mouse one evening. The crack under the door was significantly large and it easily came strolling into my room. The hallways are slender and dark. The elevator is tiny. I don’t believe a wheelchair could even enter it. Anyhow, I rate this as fair. Would I stay again there? No.

Staff was nice and accommodating. Parking was very easy and affordable. Plenty of places to eat, good location. My only complaints are the size and the room to room noise. Apparently it was an apartment building that was renovated. That is fine, just not what i expected for over $250 an evening.

A literal hole in the wall, very unassuming, but had almost everything I needed for an extended weekend stay. A desk and / or table in the room would come in handy, so that's where "almost" is coming from. Water pressure in the shower could also be better. I heard another person complain about it as well. Breakfast was basic, but quite OK, meeting expectations. I don't think I would chose this hotel if traveling with family, but will look for availability there if I'm ever back in Philly by myself again.

Got the impression it was recently acquired, the signage was a banner, and the decor was looking like a work in progress. The price was very reasonable for the location. You don’t need a car. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Very clean.

The building is very old with wood beam floors that creak as other guest pass you by. However, I am a sound sleeper so that didn't bother me. The bathrooms are new/modern, the place is super clean, the staff is AMAZING, I enjoyed the breakfast very much, and the building is kept in great shape. The location is central to all of the activities that Central City has to offer.
