The good: 1. Excellent location in downtown Philly. 2. Good size room that appears to be updated in the past year or so. 3. Effective AC and Heat. 4. Comfortable Bed. The middle: 1. Price was a little higher than what we wanted, but it was acceptable. The bad: Nothing to note!

For the price this hotel is good for a quick stay. Pros: It’s location allows for easy walkability, nice staff, comfortable beed Cons:limited breakfast consisting of only carbs and yogurt, very loud city noises ( if room faces walnut ), garbage window unit ac that’s super loud Overall for the price I’d give it a 3.5/4 out of 5

While the neighborhood initially felt a bit unsafe, I was pleasantly surprised by its hip and trendy vibe when I ventured out for dinner. Walking to work in the morning felt slightly sketchy, though. The hotel locks its doors at night, requiring guests to ring a bell for entry, which suggests what to expect. The room was compact but comfortable, with a decent bed and a working TV. The AC needed a reset, but it functioned well. The bathroom floor felt a bit grimy, possibly from lotion left by a prior guest. Breakfast looked typical for a mid-range hotel, with options like waffles, cereals, and muffins, though I didn’t try it due to my diet. It’s a small hotel with a cramped, somewhat quirky elevator. The place has a unique vibe, almost like it used to be a shelter or apartment building, with a vinyl banner for signage. They photocopy IDs upon check-in, citing fraud concerns, which felt off-putting. Overall, I’d stay here again for a short trip but would recommend it selectively. That felt like a pretty honest review. Front desk staff were very friendly.
