"Our group included three young people (ages 18-22) and all of us were incredibly impressed with the lodging itself - a whole charming house - and especially with the location, near the lovely town of Antigonish and very near to a fantastic 4 km long beach (Pomquet Beach) with seals, fir trees, spectacular sunsets, etc. We went in January - not a time in Nova Scotia for the timid - and the house was warm and cozy and the host had the driveway plowed for us as soon as we asked. The house itself sits across from a beautiful body of water and we spent a great deal of time on the porch just taking it all in. The host was extra kind, thoughtful, and communicative. We cannot wait to go back!"

"The house is, technically, as described but there are a few design issues that made it hard to use. The ladder, which is needed to access the loft, blocks the bathroom door. So if you have it in place for climbing, it has to be moved to open the loo door, then moved back to climb back up again. We have stayed in tiny houses before and found them easier to maneuver around. Which would be fine but at this price it should be somewhat more comfy. Caveat Emptor"

"We needed a place to freeze some packs for medication and these hosts went above and beyond to help. They also provided us with fresh eggs and blueberries from their homestead. Place was clean and she had the radio playing when we came in. So sweet! The water was warm and clear for us and was so nice to wade in. Two notes: There is no A/C (which I didn’t realize but that’s on me and not the fault of the listing) and if you come in August, bring some heavy duty deet bug spray. Mosquitos are no joke. "

"Everything about this place is so amazing and welcoming. From the drive there to first stepping into the dome, to seeing all of the personal touches all throughout. We loved star gazing outside and through the top of the dome from the loft. The bed was cozy and the communication with the host was quick and so very helpful. Cannot recommend this place enough!"

"Although I was getting a little nervous about finding the location (it’s off the beaten path and we were driving in a downpour) it was worth the trek. After travelling all over the Maritimes, arriving at the cabin was such a wonderful surprise. It was so clean and well set up. So many thoughtful touches and just a wonderful space to unwind. And the views were stunning- what a location!"
