"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here for new year's. Self check-in and out was very simple. The staff were really lovely, helpful and down for a chat. The view from our window was magnificent, overlooking the bay. The perfect home base for our explorations on Isle of Skye. The only thing that would improve the experience would be a mini fridge to keep groceries and milk fresh. Although mini fridges seem to be more common in Australian accommodation, as I haven't had one anywhere we have stayed in the UK. "

"Location is excellent but need to look for parking as limited. Room was really nicely decorated which made it feel really homely. Restaurant serves excellent food and it’s close to their restaurant and services. Portree itself it’s absolutely beautiful and I could not recommend it enough. "

My meals were excellent as was the service in the dining room and bar. The Sauna/cold plunge experience was exceptional and the coziness of my cabin cannot be paralleled. "We enjoyed our 2 nights at the Rosedale. It’s a quirky old building with lots of stairs but the rooms were nicely appointed and clean. Comfortable beds and lovely breakfast. "
