Best room yet
We stay here regularly as its my sons favourtie hotel. This time however we stayed in Room 30. Best ever yet. The room was amazing woth the double bedrooms and the courtyard. Staff here couldn't be more helpful.

Overnight stay
Lovely overnight stay at Barton Manor. We were able to check in & use the leisure facilities. Pool, sauna & stream room were good. Our bedroom was on the second floor (221). Unfortunately our view out to the nice garden area was limited due to privacy screening applied to the windows. A very large building is being constructed to add 48 rooms to the complex. We were not made aware of this. There was no work done during our stay though so we were not disturbed. Bathroom was very compact and a bit awkward. It was good to have an ice station on each floor and we appreciated this for a cool drink during the night. Breakfast was all self service and had a variety of freshly cooked food. Staff were particularly nice and friendly.

Only downside was the scaffolding next door but did not spoil the overall experience. The staff were very helpful, friendly and efficient. They fitted me in at last minute. The room was clean, large and very comfortable, the evening meal was delicious and so was the breakfast 😋 excellent hotel

Great stopover
Stayed overnight whilst travelling north. Really pleasant stay, rooms are large and spacious, Nespresso coffee machine and pods in the room, fresh milk and ice available on every floor, breakfast is excellent. Didn't have the time to make use of the leisure facilities. Will definitely use again when passing through

Excellent Hotel
Really nice place with fantastic facilities: pool and well-equipped gym were spotless. Food in the restaurant was pricey as to be expected but very good. Only a couple of let-downs, including finger nail clippings in our room (definitely not ours!), and disabled toilet not stocked with toilet paper, no paper cups by the water cooler in the gym etc. Nothing major, but for a quiet Monday night/Tuesday morning before the school holidays, and plenty of staff milling around, these were disappointing oversights. Would absolutely come back, however.

Very surprised about the quality of this hotel compared to price for stay. Spa, pool and gym are great facilities. Hotel smells amazing and room and general areas are very clean and modern.

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights, having booked a deluxe room with bath. The room we were allocated had no bath and was grubby. There was dust on the furniture which may have come from the building work going on at the side and back of the hotel. The carpet had not been vacuumed under the furniture or round the edges. The bathroom floor had not been swept. There were 2 of us and we had to ask for towels every day as they were removed by housekeeping presumably. Due to the building works, the exit gate was not usable. It was necessary to go out via the In gate, controlled by a barrier. To get out, we had to get out of the car, walk around the barrier and wait for reception to answer the intercom to lift the barrier On the last night, we were unable to get into the car park as the barrier was not working. Even the resident DJ could not get it to work. Eventually the receptionist managed to get the barrier to work, telling us it was a computer glitch.

Dinning tables very sticky. Pots and cutleryalso your elbows stuck to table tops. Breakfast no sausages on 17th June . Food for breakfast was only just tepid temperature. Very disappointing. No hot water at 6.55 on 18th June..
