Where to start with a once truely loved resort of mine. Lets start with check in not enough agents to check us in,lobby was unorganized and the legendary timeshare people were all over you trying to sell you timeshare weeks. Luggage was taken right away for the bell hop to start and make money on you. It was 445 pm check in was 3pm our room was ready why not just let us keep the luggage! This resort is all inclusive but get ready for the the hidden fees. Now let me note i had come to this resort 10 years ago and it was one of my favorite resorts. Once in room my room was very worn out tiles cracked basebord mouldings missing. Hole in the ceiling with water damage coming down the wall. My daughter's room had no glass shower door and the toilet room door which was glass also gone. Front door to the room would stay locked unless you pulled it. Called front desk they did nothing but send a candy basket. Dinner the first night we were meet with 1 hour 45 minute waits. They boost 14 or so restaurant s BUT 2 you have to nake reservation for 2 others are not inckuded and you have to pay to eat. The rest are first come first serve for the regular peasant BUT if you're a legendary member you can get whatever you want. Lunch at the pools where the peasants are allowed always ran out of hamburgers. They did have have hot dogs available most of the time. BUT the legendary member only pools 2 of them had higher quality and quantity of food. Also let me mention the 5 pools near the

It was dirty and cheap. Room service brought plastic forks and knives. No drinks unflavored food. I would not return. Service staff was friendly, but could not make up for amenities. We called for an engineer to check the air-conditioning. They never showed. We left one day early.

The rooms are big and mostly comfortable; however they're kind of outdated and the humidity inside the room doesn't help. Staff are mostly friendly but not always helpful. For example at the bars they would send us to another bar very often as they said they didn't have a determined drink. They almost never offered to go get that drink themselves. Also, when we were leaving we had to carry our baggage all the way to the Reception area as nobody showed up to help with that (after we called them in advance). Overall it was a good stay but service needs some improvement.

We booked a stay at the Hard Rock Resort in Punta Cana through Expedia as Platinum VIP members and were directed to a VIP desk upon arrival, where we were promised a personal assistant to help with reservations and informed of exclusive benefits, including a free spa treatment and discounted excursion. However, the “personal assistant” turned out to be a sales representative for the Hard Rock Vacation Club, not an Expedia employee. She lured us into a room filled with timeshare salespeople, falsely claiming the benefits were conditional on attending a 90-minute presentation, which we refused. This deceptive experience involved misrepresentation of VIP benefits, unauthorized sharing of our personal information, and pressure tactics, leaving us feeling exploited. We believe Expedia must address this unethical behavior to protect its clients.

Property was nice and clean. It was huge but the transportation helped to move easily throughout the property. Our biggest disappointment was the food. Market, Italian, Mexican food restaurants had uncooked meals. Options were very limited. The expectations were super high but turned into disappointment as the hard rock in Cabos, food options and prep was awesome.

I had an extremely poor experience at this hotel. It was the worst hotel stay I've ever had. The staff seemed to have a negative attitude, and the hotel was undergoing extensive construction, which was inconvenient. Unfortunately, my room was also burglarized during my stay, which added to my distress. I've noticed several other reviews mentioning theft, which suggests that this may be a recurring issue at the hotel. I strongly advise others to exercise caution when staying at this hotel.

I did not like the fact that hard rock tries to sell you time shares during your stay. I also did not like that the two pools closet to our building were for timeshare owners or "legend" people. Despite paying top dollar i felt like a second class guest. There were not enough towels sometimes. And it would have been nice to know that parts of the resort including the main pool was under renovation during out stay

A huge resort with different areas, pools and a very long beach. However great transportation with 3 different lines around the resort. Great beach and kid friendly. Restaurants are understaffed. A la carte food was delicious and fresh. Our favorite restaraunts were Ciao and Zen for kids.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Hard Rock! Expedia’s reviews are nothing like what this resort is. The food was amazing- they have something like 13 restaurants on site plus food trucks all over their properties serving fries, wings, chicken burgers, cheeseburgers, and nachos all the way until 6 PM. Bars on every corner as well as at every pool and on the beach. The people working there are absolutely amazing. They really do go above and beyond to ensure that you are experience is top-notch. This is definitely our favorite all inclusive place and we will be back again hopefully next year. One thing that I really loved is that you can never go bored. We traveled with one teenager and one child… They both had an incredible time. If you get a chance, do the escape room. It is an extra charge, but we as a family had an incredible time. The Scooby Doo option we think is the best for a family.

We had a fabulous week at the Hard Rock with a family of 14! There were plenty of food options for all eaters including vegetarians and allergies. The rooms were clean and in working order. Everyone had a different layout in their room. Pools are great! Shout out to the 12 pm instructor at the pool. The busier pools needed more cleaning. Also more umbrellas at the pool to shade us from the Dominican sun! Beach area was clean. Kids had plenty of fun in the sand and waves.

We arrived after 3pm and our room was not ready. The luggage was only delivered at the room after 6pm, hence we lost the afternoon.The pools had no towels after 12pm, the Ipanema restaurant is not a Brazilian steak restaurant. The service was not good and the meet variety was poor. The Toro restaurant had no air conditioning and it was so hot. Not a pleasant experience.

I’ll start by saying that this was my first and last time at this resort. The service was mediocre at best. This resort is being remodeling so many of the amenities were not available including one of the water slides. The food truck lines were absolutely insane and times for food was way too long if your traveling with kids. There are a lot of Karen’s traveling to this resort beware. They felt in their natural habitat it was disgusting, it’s embarrassing to be an American. Food is not good at all and the options are limited. If you want any type of Caribbean food this is not the resort for you. If you’re interested in anything that is not bland boring music that puts you to sleep this is not the resort for you. *** having a room with connecting doors if you care about your sleep and any kind of quiet I suggest you make sure you do not have connecting doors. We called in the span of two nights in a row and not one was able to help. Deborah at the front desk was of no help and was not able to accommodate us and she said she called security to check but because they couldn’t hear anything or see anything there was nothing that they could do. So me and me two kids had to sleep incredibly uncomfortable with music to the max. I will NEVER be going to hard rock “resort” ever again. Will deter anyone and everyone from coming here.

Overall
During the night the hotel was too dark to walk to the lobby or whatever we were going, not much lights on the property. We had trouble find towels in the pool and in the beach EVERY DAY! The golf cards took forever to pick us up, it was never less than 20 minutes and sometimes we would just gave up and leave. The restaurant Ipanema is not a 5 star hotel restaurant at all, we waited 1 hours to eat, we didn’t have good experience even talking to the manager. None of the salts in the restaurant was working. The AC for the toro was broken last night and we were sweating at the table, couldn’t make it for desert because it was too hot and coffee for breakfast should be one bottle by table because the serves never comes back filling the mugs.
