Was an amazing experience! The hotel is centered to everything, could see the whole town, could walk to everything. Taxis and busses right outside or a short walk. Everything was clean and the breakfast was fantastic. Would stay here again!

Wonderful location,staff is super friendly and helpful. Shoot out to Christian. Overall the all experience was fantastic. You can’t not get a better location in Reykjavík than this hotel.

Everything was great! The hotel is in a great area close to many places for eating and shopping within walking distance or a short drive away. They allowed us to check in 4hrs early which was amazing since we came straight from the airport after an overnight flight. Staying again on our leg back.

Pleasant hotel
The room was nice, albeit a little dated. The bathroom was also nice but the drain in the floor was emitting a foul smell. This was raised with reception on the first day but nothing was done about it. Disappointed but as we were out of the room for 12+ hours a day, I wasn’t going to kick up a fuss

Our bathroom smelled funny from drains 21 out of 34 tv channels didnt work Nightclub accross street has ungodly noise till 3am Tour bus stop location is close but sucks as you are always last to be dropped off which easily adds 30 to 60 min to times Staff was friendly and nice and breakfast was delish

I count on these reviews for honesty when choosing where to stay so imagine my disappointment. This hotel is no where near a 4 star property. The room was minimal at most and had a foul smell upon entering. You could circle the entire room within a few steps. The water had a smell of sulfur and the shower was catty cornered so you could barely turn around while bathing. I asked for another room and was advised this was all they had. I was quite disappointed that they never offered an upgrade or my other bonuses while being an Expedia Gold member. Perhaps if the hotel was rated properly (2 star) the price point would reflect the quality received. Due to this stay I will not stay at this hotel chain again. After one night I checked out to choose someplace else to stay.

The hotel was nice enough. But our room was poor. One small window that looked out over a “courtyard” and directly across from the elevator.
