Front desk very knowledgeable! Hotel restaurant closes early and that was disappointing. Plenty of easily accessible walking and centrally located. Great restaurants near Opera House which is behind the hotel a couple blocks. Felt safe and decorated beautifully for Christmas!

Great stay! My wife and I stayed in the junior suite for 6 days and 5 nights before we headed north to Milan and it made our stay in Rome such an amazing experience. It’s so close to all the shops, and ALL the major sights for see are walkable (Trevi, Colosseum, Spanish Steps, etc) and many good food and cafe options right next door. Onsite breakfast, great staff, and very welcoming!

Overall our stay was just almost perfect, Hotel was near everything, restaurants, public transportation, just mins walk...even has Macdonald's in front of Hotel. Only one problem is early morning staff at concierge not friendly, has an attitude problem, i wanted to go out, main door was locked inside, has to get up and open door.

Hotel is pretty old already with floors squeaking, noisy area as you need to open windows due to no AC. Not so attentive staff. Elevator on the side takes long time to come especially if the doors were not closed properly.

The property has style. It has the feel of the early 1900s, but, unfortuntely, not every room has been well maintained. Initially I was given a room that was not up to scratch and, because I wanted a bathtub, I needed to pay a sizable supplement. The room I then got was far superior to the first one in every way. I have stayed in this hotel on numerous occasions before and I still like it. But I am no longer convinced that it gives good value.
