Waiting in line for check-in was a pain. They finally got another person on the desk. There was a self-check in kiosk, but it would have been helpful to have someone at that post to encourage and help people, like me, who were curious, but not sure how to use the machine. Unfortunately, we wanted to eat at 1140! The breakfast restaurant just closed and the hostess was less than warm in her announcement that we were not welcome. We waited 20 minutes for the lunch/dinner restaurant to open. As I have mobility issues and use a walker, this was less that helpful. It left a bad taste in my mouth - bitter, actually.

Great hotel if you're capable of walking - about 5 mins to Bell Centre, 8 to St Catherines and 20 to Old Montreal by foot. Direct connection via the Metro also very handy. Pool and hot tub are major selling features - 10/10.

The heated year round rooftop outdoor pool, hot tub and sauna are amazing! The location is amazing! I love the renovated rooms! The pool area needs some repair though. Once that’s done, superb place to stay - a great place for a stay-cation too if you’re from the Montreal area. We’re from Ottawa and have been coming here for years!

I was so surprised as to how amazing this hotel was. During check-in the amenities were carefully explained, the location beside the train station is really convenient, the rooms the bright and clean. Loved this place and will come back
