Beautiful 2 BR Suite Between Victoria and Sidney

“Welcome home” to Wallace House, a vacation rental suite located between Victoria and Sidney in beautiful Saanichton. Perfectly located, we are only 10 minutes away from the famous Butchart Gardens, Victoria International airport, the Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal, and the Anacortes Ferry Terminal. Victoria is an easy 20 minute drive away. Sidney is even closer, a 10 minute drive. Wallace House is situated on over half an acre. Although we are in the country, we are an easy walk to a major grocery store, banks, restaurants, coffee shops and all other amenities. We are adjacent to walking and bicycling routes and trails. We have views across the farm land to the ocean, Gulf Islands and Mount Baker. Our guests can walk to a local beach in about 20 minutes.

Our vacation suite, which is accessed by stairs and a private entrance, has over 1,100 square feet of comfortable living, suitable for couples or families, up to four people. We supply kitchen appliances and utensils for all your cooking needs, including coffee and tea. Initial breakfast makings are provided. Laundry facilities are also available. There is no smoking on the premises.

The pictures captured what is there. But then there is more. Besides a well equipped kitchen, Kirk and Gloria surprised with some nice essentials to get the day rolling. Having fresh milk, orange juice, butter,toast, jam and a pack of ground coffee ready to use was unexpected. Not to forget the apples, bananas and homemade cupcakes. Awsome. Bedroom and bathroom didn't fall short either. Just had a great time with homie feeling in your suite. Thank you guys !!

The Host n Hostess were the Mostest, Graciest, & knowledgeable , the property was HUGE & nicer then the pictures show. Supplies in the fridge & cupboards were much appreciated & laundry 🧺 facilities in unit. Yayyyy Bed was Sooooo Comfy too. The Shower was definitely small even for me , but did the trick. Heaven! This is a well kept hideaway very close to Victoria and just up the road from Butchart Gardens. The hosts, Kirk and Gloria, were very attentive (even had homemade muffins for us!) The location was quiet and beautiful! The air was clean. Hope to return!

Kirk was wonderful and gave us a short tour. Spacious and love the layout ... Outside lovely water view. Only concern was shower was very small so for a larger person this would be undesirable. Fridge had some breakfast goodies, and coffee... nice touch! Would stay again.

Island vacation
Gloria and Kirk were wonderful hosts, would recommend their rental to anyone. They were helpful in recommending things to see and do in the area. We especially enjoyed the Horticultural Center, and for aviation enthusiasts the Air Museum is a must.

My 2 sisters were visiting the island from Alberta and we had such an amazing and relaxing time at Kirk and Gloria's. The property is gorgeous and we loved sitting in the hot tub in the evenings enjoying the quiet and star-filled sky. Kirk and Gloria were a pleasure - always available to help. The suite was extremely clean and well-stocked - everything was provided. We'll definately be back!!

Nice unit, but the hot tub was drained before we arrived so we could not use it. I would have liked to know that when booking as we were specifically looking for a place with a hot tub. The hosts were very friendly and lovely people.

Super friendly owners who go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. We were able to use the hot tub and bbq. We were there for a couple of birthdays and needed a larger pot to boil corn on the cob; all I had to do was ask and it was provided. Very friendly with our children and even gave them a tour of his garage (cool stuff to see). We will definitely stay here again.

Peaceful Property and Kind Hosts
Kirk and Gloria were wonderful and welcoming hosts, by the end it felt like they were our friends and my partner wanted to adopt them. Lol. Their property is spacious, clean and supplied with everything we needed. Our 5 year old enjoyed racing around in the green space outdoors. It was a quick stroll to catch the bus into downtown Victoria, making it easy to avoid driving as parking and gas were expensive. The thrill of riding a double decker bus never got old. We had a splendid time shopping, exploring the sights and visiting the university. Next time, we hope to return to Saanich and rebook this sweet little home away from home.
