Our "queen room" was actually a huge suite! The bedroom was a separate room, and the suite had an almost full kitchen (no oven, but a stove, a full fridge/freezer, microwave, coffeemaker, blender, toaster, plates and glasses and silverware, even a dishwasher...). It seems like every room at this hotel had a balcony, which was excellent - we enjoyed ours in the mornings and evenings for sure. The building is clearly an older building, and some people would complain about the quality because of that, but not us. When we travel we go out a lot - we don't need a room for much but sleeping. And we don't need a room to be fancy - we just need to feel that we are safe in it when we're sleeping and that our belongings are secure in it when we're out. We don't mind an older building that's still perfectly functioning! In fact, it gives a hotel some charm, instead of it being indistinguishable from every other hotel. Outside, the (connected) pools are big and the seating areas around the pool are great, and the hours for the pool are wonderful. The access to the beach is also very close (right by the pool) and very nice. The location of the hotel is good, too - pharmacies, groceries, and restaurants are maybe a 5 minute drive away. The staff was always friendly and helpful, and the cleaning staff were great. We would definitely return to this hotel.

The view was nice and beautiful. The property is trash. Need updated and improvements. The property smells like basement mildew and has roaches. Sad for such a beautiful view.

The only thing that seemed like it had been updated in 30 years were the televisions. Even the pool, despite the beautiful pics needs some resurfacing or something. We had a good time despite the aesthetics and it was conveniently located adjacent to activities. The staff was friendly and the breakfast buffet at the embassy suites was decent for the price.

The pool area was really nice, hotel needs some upgrading to do in the room. Beds were really uncomfortable, and alot of security outside to even go in the hotel. Wouldn’t stay here again not worth it!

Nice pool, small rocky beach, clean hotel

Hotel property is clean, a little outdated, unlike the adjacent property (Embassy Suites). Ask about towel service for the pool. We were not given cards to get towels at the pool and had to go back inside to convince the day staff we were never given them at check-in. While you have access to the pool area until 3 p.m. checkout, you are required to return towels at checkout, which is indoors, not poolside. - Nice pool area with different areas, hot tub jets did not work, no diving wells - Beach area is small, lots of marsh and seagrass, rocky, we sustained several cuts trying to swim out to the deeper water, but overall the area is shallow and no waves. Watch out for sea urchins. - There are only outdoor showers, none in pool bathrooms which would be helpful to have with small children. - Dog friendly beach and grass where we saw owners go on walks. - Kitchenette and washer/dryer were great to have, though a bit small and loud. Run it while you are away from the room. - Rooms have a bright flashing lights in bedrooms and living room, which made it hard to sleep. They flashed every 10 minutes. - Vanity sink was clogged and they sent someone up right away. We did not ask for them to fix it immediately since it was late at night. - Room (King and fold out sofa) were fine, plenty of sheets and blankets were given to us because we paid for an extra guest - Hotel ran out of shampoo and conditioner so we were only given extra soap bars and body wash gels.

The resort rooms is a lil outdated as far as furniture needs new mattress. I must saythe Staff was very nice, polite, helpful,and informative. Place is convenient love the pool area. Cant beat it for the price. I truely enjoyed my stay despite my dislike for the mattress.

Our stay at Aquarius Vacation Club had both positives and negatives. The location was great, making it easy to enjoy the surrounding area. However, one of the main reasons we booked this hotel was the advertised no-pets policy. Unfortunately, we stayed on a floor where the owner had both a dog and a bird, which made noise throughout the day and night, disrupting our stay. Cleanliness also fell short of expectations. We were not provided with washcloths, the floors felt damp, and overall maintenance appeared lacking. The hotel and pool are in desperate need of renovations, and even basic functions like closing the doors required slamming them shut. Additionally, it was disappointing to learn that despite paying for a stay with beach access, guests are required to rent lounge chairs separately. This policy seems unfair and inconvenient. While the location is a strong selling point, improvements in cleanliness, maintenance, and policy enforcement are necessary for a more enjoyable experience.

The toilet in the room had lots of toilet paper, and the water overflowed in the bathroom when we checked in. Even the service team later fixed it when we asked, but it was a bad experience. All the employees are very kind and nice, but the facility is old and poorly maintained.
