"The staff were all amazing, the entertainment was wonderful both daytime at the pool and evening in the lobby. The resort itself we didn’t expect to be an older population on the adults only side but we still had fun and enjoyed ourselves. The nightclub on the family side was a hit if you wanted to experience the night life and a younger population. Only downside to the rooms were not many outlets for more than 2 guests in the room for charging devices. "

"The Playa Nueva Romana is excellent in every respect. The host, Linette, was extremely helpful and supportive throughout the stay. I commend her good communication skills and though fullness. She kept in touch on daily basis to make sure we have everything that we needed at the residence. Kudos to her and her rental team."

"When we got there, a staff member offered to show us around and wanted us to leave our bags in an unattended area where there were construction workers around. My husband told him that he didn’t want to leave our personal belongings there so he assumed that we had a fire arm in our luggage. He warned us that fire arms weren’t permitted, that there were cameras everywhere and that the owner was on the property. He was very suspicious of us and didn’t let up until I offered to let him search one of our bags. That was very unpleasant for us. The prices at the restaurant are excessively high and some of the portions are very small. Also, there was no hot water in the room bathroom. We let the staff know but nothing was done. Finally, the ambiance music is horrible and doesn’t feel like you’re in a tropical country. I do want to give a shoutout to Kelvin. He was very nice and took very good care of us. However, we will not be returning to this hotel."
