"The property and rooms are stunning, very well-kept and the staff were incredibly professional. Stayed in the Limited Edition Whirpool Suite and was blown away by how comfortable and roomy the tub was! Certainly worth the splurge. My only gripe was that we needed to travel back and forth between our room and the lobby to access frozen foods that we had brought along. Our room's mini fridge did not have a freezer. Needing to ask staff to bring your foods out of their private lobby freezer felt a little odd and became a bit annoying after a couple of days. Other than that, this is a glorious spot for a romantic getaway."

"Older hotel but right on the beach and all rooms face the ocean with balcony. Smoked salmon chowder every night with warm cookies provided by hotel staff. Warmed pool & jacuzzi. Walking distance to downtown and shopping. What more can you ask for. As an older widow I felt very secure with locked entrances and staff are all friendly and very helpful. My go to stay in Newport. "
