"Absolutely loved the rooftop pools. The bar and restaurant being right there made it super convenient to have lazy days by the various pools. The staff were incredible and always so friendly and helpful. There are a few restaurants within walking distance, or it's easy to grab an uber. We learned later how the local bus system worked and definitely would have saved us some walking, but the weather was beautiful. The local beach access is a short walk down the road and was lovely walking. Unfortunately there was construction happening right next door, but we rarely heard anything and it wasn't disrupting our stay. One night we woke around 3 am with noise above us that couldn't be explained, but it only happened the once. Andres, Angel, Hugo and Karla were a great time and always had smiles. Not having kids running around and making noise was another excellent perk for us."

"This is the perfect hotel for large groups and those who want to stay up late and not worry about being too loud. Beach is perfect. Staff is amazing. Food is good enough. Entertainment was really good. "

"This was our second time at Riu Vallarta and it didn’t disappoint! The staff is exceptional! The beach is perfect if you’re looking for sun and shade! Lots of palm trees on the beach but you can easily lay in the sun all throughout the day. Beach isn’t rocky and you’re not cutting your feet on broken shells. Located in a very pretty and safe area. Great spot for morning walks/runs on road in front of resort or along the coast. Will definitely return! "
