What was supposed to be our relaxing stay after a really tough year, turned out to be the most frustrating vacation I’ve ever been on and a complete waste of money, and was meant to be to celebrate my birthday. After first arriving, the hotel had power outages. While I understand that the infrastructure in the area is less developed, the hotel did not have a back up generator for the rooms, so no air conditioning. The rooms were wet and musty, leaving all our clothes to smell bad for the whole trip. Then after a rainstorm, our room began to flood on the ground level after water came in through the patio doors. We were switched to a new room, but no compensation offered. The new room had broken pieces of decor with rusty nails sticking out and a broken power outlet that pulled out from the wall entirely when you tried to unplug something. Next, my spouse tried to arrange with the front desk to have them bring a little cake from the buffet to the room to try to turn my birthday around after having such a poor experience so far. They agreed to deliver it to the room between 3pm-4pm, and it never arrived. Next, we had maintenance try to enter our room without permission while we were sleeping to fix the “broken window”. We had no clue what they were talking about, but could only assume it was related to our OLD room that had the leaking patio doors. They argued with us for 5 mins before leaving. Finally, we got locked out of our room because the keys stopped working.

Overall a decent stay for the money. Wouldn't stay here again but we tried to focus on the positives. The staff: The Valet staff, Front Desk staff, Bartenders, and Restaurant staff were excellent. Didn't wait long for drinks and they pour generously. All were friendly. The concierge packed knowledge of the facilities and could really only help with dinner reservations. The beach: The ocean front access was a huge plus. Chairs were easy to find however you can't use the cabanas (even for a fee) unless you stay as a royal member. The constant flow of vendors trying to sell things got irritating after awhile. The room: the first room we got was not clean. Had to call the front desk to have someone clean it. Stains on sheets, surfaces not wiped down, undergarment tags stuck to furniture. However, the next day when we asked to move to the ground floor, the FD staff accommodated us free of charge. The facilities: some of the extra areas like the theater and massage area were a bit challenging to find. Staff seemed to have a hard time giving us directions. The tequila tasting room was closed for the whole week we were here despite a sign on the door stating they would be open at 10am tomorrow. Every. Darn. Day. The Hibachi restaurant was super fun and probably the best food we had there. Jerry at the tour/towel desk was excellent. Had a good time but would pay a bit more next time and try a different resort.

I really liked our stay!! The hotel itself was a little older but that didn't take away from the experience. For example I had reviews that the conditioner was not properly working and it may seem that way when you first turn it on but just give it a few hours or more and you will be freezing! The front desk was SO helpful ! They were welcoming and even though they might speak more spanish than english but again that did not take away from them helping us out in every way and they even switched out room because of a slight inconvenience and offered us a vip dinner to make up for it. A shout out to EDUARDO, LUZ and ARCKELLY! They were all in all very welcoming! Just a heads up for the reviews you may read about the pool being a little warm in the afternoon but when we went in the next morning it was so cool and refreshing the perfect temp. The heat is just because of the direct sunlight and may seem that way sometimes. I want to definitely give a BIG SHOUT OUT to ALFONSO at the pool bar outside. !! OMG this man is the sweetest and made our trip. He was always smiling and soooo nice and made sure our hands were never empty of drinks. The restaurants were good food and great variety. The shows at night were very family style and cozy and fun! The lobby area was great to sit and enjoy the shows and your drink. The activities by the pool were also so much fun. Thank you to everyone who made out trip so memorable.

U can only make a reservation once every 3 days to one of there restaurants. Hope its not booked. I didnt like my meal and niether did my husband. The buffet was ok. If your picky about people making your food with no gloves, its not for you. Room wasnt cold enough for me. The beach was really nice.

Room smelled like paint the whole time, paint was fresh, the smell of paint fumes was extremely fresh. The paint even dripped on my Gfs head. food was delicious but my friends and i experienced some stomach problem's everytime we ate .( might just be our stomach's arent used to food) Otherwise staff was friendly and helpful besides when we went to the mexican grill restaurant. The hotel itself was very nice and had entertainment every day.

I had terrible experience. Evening of Aug 26, 2024 when I got back to my room 338 some drunk person was sleeping in my room . He had vomit in room and bathroom also broke toilet. Looks like some stuff let him in into my room but management won’t say exactly how this guy ended up in my room . As a compensation manager only changed my room . I have not written any google or other reviews yet but might. I believe I deserve better compensation. Thanks

Was a amazing trip. Had one small issue which the management resolved with a free massage for my wife. Food was actually really good for an all inclusive, all the employees very very friendly to us. We will come back next time for a 14 night stay vs our 7 night stay

Such an amazing experience. Staff was so kind and sweet. Restaurants were delicious. Great authentic Mexican food. Our waitress Marisol Cardenas was such a great host for all the days that we stayed. Bar has great selection for drinks. This has been one of the best experiences ever. I will recommend this place to family and friends. I will definitely be back soon.

This is place where mostly local (Spanish speaking) folks come for vacation. The staff is not fluent in English, some speak it fluently, but some pretend to not speak it (out of convenience). The check in staff try to sell you on "Royal" option, which is a scam. The restaurants and buffets won't let you take food out. you have to go and sit down at the buffet, and the servers won't let you go in with swimming suits (so if you are enjoying a day by the pool, you have to go upstairs, change, come back down for some half decent food). We went there for an all inclusive experience, instead, we had to go out on a few occasion and get food from restaurants nearby. The worst part is apparently there is some sort of limit for bottled water in the rooms; we called the front desk for some bottled water (2 bottles), and we were told we would get charged for them, this is absurd for an all inclusive resort. Overall, if you want to be treated like a second or third class citizen this is the place for you. I highly recommend considering other options.
