I would not recommend staying at this hotel. There was opened condoms in the drawer, the handle of the balcony door fell off the first time we tried opening the door, the $15 drinks were watered down, we had a huge brown fast moving bug in our room and house keeping skipped a day and then didn’t come until 8pm the following night. What you pay in resort fees and the cost of the rooms with double beds (not queen size beds) it’s not worth it. Much nicer hotels near Pier 60 that charge less, have better amenities and are much cleaner. The only saving grace was the friendly staff.

Most paid per square foot for a building in Clearwater for a good reason, LOCATION!! In the middle of it all. The “gulf front suites” are a must to stay. The view is used by local and national tv stations it’s spectacular!!

We were there between Helene and Milton Oct. 3-7. The staff did a fabulous job of getting ready after Helene. It was much better than what we expected after a hurricane. The whole place was clean and beautiful. We went with an open mind and were so pleasantly surprised. Kudos to the entire staff for all their hard work. Thank you guys for a great trip!

Labor Day weekend getaway
Booked a last-minute Labor Day getaway weekend trip for me and my family and overall I did enjoy the property and especially my time on the beach itself. However, I was very disappointed with the hotel in that I had booked a room requesting two queen beds and they did not accommodate me as per my request. They only had a king bed room available, even though I clearly had stated that it would be for two adults and one child, staying in the room. All that they could offer me was a rollaway bed for myself as I gave the king bed to my wife and daughter. Otherwise, all other accommodations were satisfactory

Everything was very nice until the hurricane was approaching and they suddenly told us we had to check out immediately without warning. The hurricane was not supposed to even hit landfall for 2 days. The guest clerk said "we will waive the early check out fee". Really!!?? You bet you will considering you made us leave 2 days early! We said we want a refund for the last two days we paid for since we've been asked to leave. She told us she would look into it.....OMG.
