We liked the resort ,location ,quiet area ,safe ,resort beach area too small,beach chairs, umbrellas not included in resort price you have to pay extra,but you can walk to clearwater beach 5 to 10 min walk,overal ok

The resort was nice. The music was loud but I used to noise and can sleep through anything. The view for the balcony was so refreshing and nice. The parking was fee and no fee to get your car.

Amazing experience great time with my family and small children. Very close to the beach, clean, great food options beautiful sunset , they have a sand bar at the beach .I recommend it way better that the hilton or wyndham hotels their beach is very crowded and far . The Shephard’s offers umbrellas and chairs for a fair price and convenient close to the beach . Beautiful hotel

This was our second stay at Shephard’s. The resort is very nice. What I don’t care for is their cancellation policy. They require 72 hour notice. My flight was canceled and it didn’t look promising to book for the following day. My reservation was for 3 days only. I didn’t mind losing a day since that has been pretty standard in my experience and they likely wouldn’t be able to rent the room on such short notice. I admit, I should have researched this prior to booking. I got lucky and was able to get a flight the next day, so I was only out $300 for one night and learned a very good lesson on reading the fine print prior to booking future stays.

Loved the pool area, beach balls, beach area, and customer service at the front desk staff. The Cove for breakfast did not have much personality in the staff- very dry and non social depending on who you got. The monte cristo was amazing but a little under cooked on the inside. The breakfast potatoes were cold on the inside but others were warm. The gravy was really different and good. I would recommend the biscuits and gravy. The grilled chicken sandwich from the bar staff menu was great. The chicken menders were not. We couldn’t finish eating them. The pool towels guy did great at checking towels out and in as well as putting out the beach balls and cleaning around the pool area.

I loved all the live entertainment and food. But, sleep was impossible at nights. The night club was so loud. I could hear it perfectly in my 6th floor room. Everything else was great 👍
