A unique modern barn house in the small village Stokkseyri on the south-coast of Iceland. The house has great views to the ocean and the lava coastline. The house is fully equipped and tastefully decorated. An outdoor wood geothermal hot tub and quality beds will also help to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
The house is only a 45 min drive from Reykjavik and well situated to explore many of the sights in the south.
The two floor house (105 m2) was built in 2010. It has three bedrooms, bathroom w/ shower, living room w/balcony and an open kitchen. Availability for 4 guests.
The kitchen is fully equipped and guests are welcome to use spices, oils, flour and other basics for cooking.
The house exterior is clad with weathered Siberian larch and the interior walls with branch-less plywood. When building this house the aim was to have it environmentally friendly, e.g. by carefully selecting all materials used. The house has geothermal floor heating.
