Stop-over for the night after 19-hour drive
Only stopped at this hotel after a long day driving and we wanted to be close to the 401 to continue our trip the next day. Staff at front desk was friendly. Advised us that the elevator was broken (not fun to climb four floors with heavy luggage). Not fun either that the front desk staff didn't put a sign the next day by the elevators to state that it was fixed. Room was clean and comfortable. Average breakfast for this type of hotel.

It's a good hotel for if your not picky and just want a place to stay and for a decent price. The hallways are kinda creepy though and the doors had some trouble locking

Upon checking in I was told it was $170 a night. Online was $117. So I checked in online while standing at the counter. Attendant was polite. Bed was clean, surfaces were clean. Walls were banged up and dirty. Other things were very worn and dirty, like the carpet Pool and Work out room looked ok. breakfast looked good, coffee was only warm, not hot. I forgot a long silk robe but it appears no one found it, so its been stolen by staff. I called 3 times.

We got stuck in the elevator then it was out of service for the rest of our stay. 4 floors with luggage can be difficult . Beds were comfy but property could use some updating .

Room hygiene a 1 of 10. They need training in what is proper room hygiene in Canada. We had to lysol wipe the whole room from the door to the window, light switches, handles, drawer handles and it was certainly not up to any red seal standard. Family run operation that are not trained. Weeks of dust on the window sills. Dirty and dusty floors. Wear slipper or sock covering . Don’t go bare foot.

This hotel needs a deep clean. Walls, baseboards, hallways do not look like they have ever been cleaned. It is not comfortable to stay in a place that has poor standards when it comes to cleanliness.

I don’t know if they own a vacuum cleaner. Our bed was broken, tv was unplugged and needed to be setup, there was a fingernail in our bed. Super gross!
